LOL, all those Sabres fans defending him when traded and saying they won the trade...I said it in that thread and I'll say it here, I feel for you guys on the Kane front, overall your future looks bright though with a lot of exciting talent. For the sake of the franchise, it may be in your best interest to cut ties with the distraction, if not simply to shield the young guys from picking up bad habits.

I'd move Grabo, Kuli, or Halak for him, all of whom have the same term left and similar cap hits. He's only got two years on his contract so if he screws up again it's not a major commitment, and part of what makes Tavares a great leader is his ability to keep his teammates in check.

Apart from Ho-Sang who technically isn't on the team, you never hear about Islander players getting in legal trouble or getting drunk and acting like clowns. The locker room simply doesn't tolerate that behavior.
