Lmao the foxhole just keeps on going
Da foxhole jamais parti. I honestly don't remember what was Gallant's record with Rags and the Panthers. I mean he got canned by both. I don't even know what kind of coach is he. Is he "let's less Xhekaj loose" kind of coach or "let's be a good boi" kind of coach?

I doubt Gallant wants to come back to Montréal and last I heard, he wants to be head coach (even if he never managed to last more than ~3 seasons).

Whether that's right or not is up for debate. But it's how it has always been.
Your 2nd to last sentence says it all.

We spent a decade roasting Bergevin for exactly that. Let's not be this way.

Very good record with the rangers, two seasons above 100 points but left after playoff failure if I recall correctly.

I remember Gallant being thought of generally positively. I went back to the old thread when Florida poached him from me and the comments are mixed, but lots of positivity, and a few people mentioning he was responsible for tactics and communication.
