I would take Gallant with open arms, imo, he's the best coach MTL had in these last 15 years.

Gallant seems to be the type of guy which orders its steak well-done, which makes him the absolute worst type of person, but he did show that he could work as an assistant in the NHL (...and as a head coach, too, but I don't think it's the point).

I'm not quite sure he is what MSL needs as an assistant though. Maybe he'd replace Letowski, who seems to have absolutely no purpose?

The question being.....does he know how to use an Ipad

Maybe he can be head coach and Marty becomes supreme coach.

Think about why the Columbus Blue Jackets didn't hire Gallant, not only Jarmo Kekälainen, but Don Waddell too, even Don Don didn't even consider him.

Also look at the Rangers. Once the opponent adjusted to the style, he couldn't make changes. And in general, the Rangers relied heavily on Panarin and especially Shesterkin.

He was lucky in winning the WC that the Russian national team coaches were pretty weak. Otherwise Russia would win over Canada.

Your main problem is the centers, not the coach. If Laine was playing, it wouldn't be so bad, since he would lead his line even if Condotta or Florian Xhekaj were playing with him. But your other wingers are not so good.
