Rumor: Laraque: Gerard Gallant Apparently Met with MSL and Kent Hughes in Toronto the Other Day

Laraque is not a journalist that is for dam sure! He's nothing more then an entertainer that is trying to be relevant and fun for the fans. Problem right now is that he's pushing is opinion like it's gospel and he will never admit that he's wrong. While he played NHL, his level of analysis is so superficial and he can't understand complex issues.

Anyway, he's got a much contact and inside information then my dead dog.

At least he admits he's not a reliable source to be taken seriously. He doesn't pretend to be a serious journalist. He shouldn't be taken seriously for any rumour.

With that said, he sure does have inside infos that he probably doesn't always share.

Let’s not pretend our club doesn’t have a dysfunctional disease. If Bergy didn’t enlighten you or Therrien didn’t convince you, so on & so on..… talent isn’t the first priority in hiring coaches/GM’s in this city. If ever we could be “upfront & honest” maybe even be authentic when discussing the core issue that ownership is willing to sacrifice success in order to keep the whiners at bay. Not even evolution or social progression seems to be able to penetrate this ugly fact. I don’t know who is available in the coaching market right know but what I do know is that we will limit ourselves when the time comes.

ONE HUNDO! I am francophone and I am sure I am not alone when I say : who care what language the coach does or doesn't speak. I prefer the language of winning....jeez. I really hope this position from ownership changes..who is going to complain outside of Francois Gagnon and Bertrand Raymond?

As someone who spent many years working in the sports media, he is not "acting" like he knows the truth.

He most certainly would have contacted Gallant and spoken with him directly and he *would* know the truth.

If he did, more power to him. I’m always skeptical about Renaud’s ‘sources’.
