Demidov is a HAB
Not if you trade trade him, his value will
never be higher
Remember people saying to trade him before he played a NHL game because his value will never be higher?

Was just going to ask if we're still trading him?Remember people saying to trade him before he played a NHL game because his value will never be higher?

Great news then!Holy smokes this kid is gonna cost a LOT of money to keep.
He's got to be the highest IQ player I've seen on this team in my 20 years pf watching.
Absolutely incredible, only 40 games in, he's our best defenseman and he just keeps getting better every game.
Yeah but he is 5.10 160 pounds.........
You dontl't know yet that for the fans and Gm size is more important than IQ.....
Remember the last 2 years.....on this forum...80% of all the f..posts were about his size.......
Because of this mentality from fans , Gm etc.... that teams missed the chance to draft special talents like Hutson, Quinn Hughes, Cole Caufield etc etc..
We’re doing it again next draft. Gonna draft Cameron Schmidt after I’m falls all the way to late 2nd round this time.
We.did this mistake with Cole Hutson..

His coach & GM have self professed to be the same, perfect match…Watching this guy adapt his game to the pros at the speed he has is special to watch. I don't think I have ever watched a hockey player change their game so effectively and so quickly, it's absurd how this is happening.
The only other case I can think of in all other sports is when Mike Trout came up from the minors and ended up becoming the best baseball player alive through his ability to change his approach during each at bat. This kid is absolutely special, just like that was, when you see it you just know.
On the Basu and Godin notebook last week they were saying how Lane is absolutely obsessed with hockey and is a total nerd about it. It shows. What a player, I just can't believe it.
Darwins theory - he’s been the smallest player on the ice his entire hockey lifeIt looks like this guy has no bones when he gets hit. He just absorbs whatever comes at him like a gelatinous mass of goo.
I’m wondering the same thing, but have watched this team for 50 years. He's got to be the highest IQ player I've seen on this team in my 20 years
Sure, but when Caufield gets hit, he doesn't come out of it with a goofy smile as if nothing happened like Hutson lol.Darwins theory - he’s been the smallest player on the ice his entire hockey life
Caufield rarely drives the play, he finds open spots to finish the play - Hutson always drives the play and because of that style has had to learn adaptation techniques CC hasn’t needed toSure, but when Caufield gets hit, he doesn't come out of it with a goofy smile as if nothing happened like Hutson lol.

I think earlier in the year he was higher than Mc or like 2nd to ONLY Mc. It was early on but it was crazyCaufield rarely drives the play, he finds open spots to finish the play - Hutson always drives the play and because of that style has had to learn adaptation techniques CC hasn’t needed to
I’m curious what stats show re: top individual puck possession TOI, wouldn’t shock me if Hutson is McDavid territory as crazy as that sounds
