I believe Hutson will get consideration as a finalist.
I think so. Tough year though. Cellebrini looks great. Wolf has been awesome...

If Hutson had a couple of goals he'd probably have more support. If he finishes with 55 assists and 0 goals, I don't think he's going to win.

At 55 assists he would be tied for 2nd all-time with Chelios for most assists by a rookie D.

Dmen also have a much different and demanding workload than a winger like Michkov and get fewer offensive opportunities.

Yeah. But no goals will be a strike against him. Rightly or wrongly that's how the vote works.

Alex Ovechkin had back to back almost identical seasons. The only difference was that in one of them his +/- was awful. Similar goals/points/shots/possession numbers but the plus/minus was terrible. He won the Richard in both seasons. He placed 2nd for the Hart in the 'normal' +/- year and outside the top 20 in the other.

If Lane wants to win this trophy, he needs to put a few pucks in the net. Even say... four goals would be fine.

No one cares
no more naps until he does
Is that your pledge? It certainly isn't mine, lol. New information is coming out now about the long-term health benefits of napping.

It's something I have always known. I should be considered a pioneer in this field but hey, I am willing to stay in the shadows and allow others to take credit.

I wonder if it also helps with ED… I mean hockey players nap and they seem pretty virile.

Hutson must take long naps for sure looking at that forehead and superior hockey iq.

I need this proof. I go out to my Van to nap for 20 minutes at lunch every day. I get teased, but it breaks up the day, and I feel refreshed and ready for the next 4-6 hours. Also can set aside a bad morning and try to start fresh and less annoyed in the afternoon :)

But Michkov is a god, and is now being compared to Lafleur......................good ol HF eh!!
Give him the Calder!!

Glad we have Hutson, who is a heck of a player in how own right!

I love napping, if you can take a nap in the PM you are truly blessed ❤️

I had many questions about his defensive game before.

I don’t have those doubt anymore. That’s the part of his game I’m more impressed in
Same.
Impressive balance absorbs contact yet still has the wherewithal to control the puck.
On the flip side knows how to lean on players with leverage while stealing the puck.
What he gives up in physicality in and around the net he makes up for with theses traits.
He can still get snuffed along the wall but he's rarely caught there particularly when paired with a mobile partner.

I wish I had the discipline. I do love a good nap though.

He’s not a god, but he seems likely to be a better pick than Reinbacher. It’s ok to say so.

This is a Hutson thread, and bringing your post back to Hutson, Hutson could have had so many assists tonight if we had players that can finish. I really would have liked to have seen Hutson setting up Michkov, an absolute assassin.
