He’s not just spectacular, he’s effective. He produces. He could have another 20 assists. The guy has the ability to create something out of nothing. He’s very special.

No doubt he could have more points. It will be nice when he's passing to better players that can actually score unlike mugs like Dvorak.

I was pretty vocal about his strength during his last 2 seasons. Rarely saw him get outmuscled and was never on his ass. I’m still surprised though it hasn’t been a real issue so far. That and his skating were the big question marks. He seems to have answered them and now what we have is an offensive wizard who’s pretty damn solid on D.

Markov was great but this is insane. This is like Top 10 player in the league promise and that number could still very well shrink.

The most talented Hab I’ve ever seen since the 88-89 season. Kovalev was close but I don’t think he was as frequently mind blowing as Hutson was even in his 07-08 season.
Curious who was more talented on that 88-89 squad, can’t think of anyone except Chelios

Different game but Hutson has much more diverse game than Richer IMO - who at end of the day was a one trick pony w his shot albeit a hard one

There's no way CC shouldn't be on PP1. He's one of the league's leading goal leaders.
Where do you put him tho? We have hutson at the top with Laine and Demidov on opposite circles. Suzuki down low. Those 4 mesh perfectly in my opinion.

Im not so sure caufield would be needed. Maybe someone with some jam like Beck (when he's ready) would compliment those 4 better.

Id try Slaf on that unit for now. Move CC to PP2

Where he's always been. Right next to the net.

Caufield's bread and butter is the PP. He's pacing for 50 goals. There's absolutely no way you take him off the PP.

Really wanna try Slaf but more I think about it caufield could work.

Demidov hutson and Suzuki playmakers with two lethal snipers. Yeah that ain't bad.

Caufield is 3rd in NHL PPG. The only guy who'd be more important than him is Hutson. Moreover, having him and Laine on the same unit will drive teams crazy. There's no way you can keep him off.

CC, Laine, Hutson, Suzuki, Demidov is going to be PP1 longterm.

This right here. Teams become better offensively when they give the other teams dilemmas instead of problems. A problem can be solved but a dilemma requires a choice. Don't make the wrong choice.

I don't know what Demidov's shot is like. Apparently he's more of a pass first type guy but if he can shoot.... Suzuki's shot is awesome and you add that to the other two and it's going to be a disaster for opposing goalies. We should be able to win a lot more games just based on the PP alone. Hutson's the only guy who doesn't have a bomb and then there's Demidov who I don't know enough about.

PP is going to be so sick.

I'm pretty sure I read people on here say he has a laser of a shot.
