Doubtful. Devils fans have a weird obsession with Habs players.
It was the same with Slafkovsky threads.
Almost like a Habs player thread is a bat signal for them.

No reasonable observer would argue Hutson is a better defender than those 3.

Hutson is the best defender of that group thus far. Perhaps when that trio can pass Kovacevic on the devils depth chart we can revisit lol

Hutson is the best offensive player of the group, but is also the worst or second worst defensively. Nemec is the only guy who's arguably been worse in that facet this year.
Arguing that Hughes is poor defensively is nonsense.

This isn't a video game. Offense and defense aren't mutually exclusive domains.
Being a good defender is as much about what a player does with the puck as without it.

And Hutson is often quite wreckless with the puck.
I made that accusation after you made the claim. Show me one of the unreasonable posts you were referring to when you made the statement.
