7 straight wins. That actually impressive. I thought the Wings were dead last but they’re *checks notes* 10th. Incredible!Yeah, about that....
Both…McLellan is good/experienced while Lalonde was a massive swing and a miss on Yzerman’s behalf.I don't know if this recent stretch just shows McLellan is a good coach or if LaLonde was just genuinely that bad of a coach.
It takes time to undo the damage of the first 35 games.7 straight wins. That actually impressive. I thought the Wings were dead last but they’re *checks notes* 10th. Incredible!
That's a later problem. You think that now. After 5 years of first round exits you’ll be singing a different tune.
This part, I don't get it, wings D has been pretty dynamic and Seider seems to have had the leash removed. It takes time to undo the damage of the first 35 games.

I'd add that coaches can also learn, get better, or find the right fit just like players. Some haters said McLellan would run extremely boring defensive systems and the Wings have probably not looked this good offensively in close to a decade.
McLellan is probably the coach the Wings need at this point in time to take them up a level, but eventually they'll have to find somebody else to take them up another level. Just ask the Kings.A team won after a coaching change? That's never happened before...

I do think TM had a convo with Chiarot though about what exactly his lane is, Chiarot seems to be much more in a supporting role mindset now and not trying to lead the play every damn time he touches the puck.
Or he learned from his mistakes and is comfortable behind a bench of a team he’s coached before and won a cup with. Gee, I dunno. Ask the kings tho. Such a terrible argument seeing how each roster was and is constructed massively different.McLellan is probably the coach the Wings need at this point in time to take them up a level, but eventually they'll have to find somebody else to take them up another level. Yeah, no. We saw McLellan plenty in the Pacific and it is a wonder that he lasted as long as he did. Just give it a year or two and Wings fans will be sending in cardboard boxes so that he can pack his personal effects.Or he learned from his mistakes and is comfortable behind a bench of a team he’s coached before and won a cup with. Sour grapes is a great treat every morning. I’ll take my opinion over a LA hockey fans opinion all day. Remember where ya came from and whose fanbase knows a tad bit more about puckYeah, no. It's amusing...It's as though the Kings as a whole failed due to McLellan being behind the bench...The players had nothing to do with itSour grapes is a great treat every morning.
