They've had plenty of time to recharge their batteries this offseason. Plus, I don't think anyone is playing some abnormally high amount of minutes. Kopi and Drew have been big minute guys for years. They'll be fine, especially since they had a long offseason.

long offseason was a blessing, but a regular 20-25min for a forward and 30-35min for a defender, game after game, that's abnormal. it's unsustainable.

C'mon, those numbers recently have extenuating circumstances. On the season, they're 21 and 28 minutes TOI respectively. That's a far cry from 25 and 35 minutes per night. At the end of the season, their averages will be right around where they are now, which is fine.

Doughty and Kopitar are doing what they are paid to do as the two highest paid players on the team. At the same time though, I would hope Sutter cuts their TOI when he has the opportunity to do so in future games over the next few weeks.

No need to see the two of them playing big minutes in games that have already been decided. Problem is that the Kings are rarely in games that have already been decided at any point in the game.

He's a winger. He was a winger in juniors, in Manchester, and he's playing out of position in LA. Look at his faceoff numbers. There's your proof right there.

His FO% is trending up. You should know better than just to look at the entire season, and not how he is improving.

He may not be a "natural" center, but if Sutter likes him where he is, then I do to. I have been watching him in particular at home games, and he is definitely improving as time goes on. I see good things for Andreoff in the future; hope we keep him.

I actually prefer him over some of the other more expensive fourth line options, but even going back to preseason play, he's had a rough time adjusting to center.

He looks a lot more comfortable on the ice when he keeps his game simple and doesn't overthink, and I find that there's just too many responsibilities and pressure on a guy who has primarily been a winger since he's been in the Kings' system, until now.

Him being shifted to center just shows how hard this team was hit with its center depth when they lost Richards and Stoll and gained nobody to replace their responsibilities. It's shifted onto Shore and a rotation of guys from Lewis to Andreoff and Weal. And Lewis is a prime example of a player who looks and plays different as a winger as opposed to center.

My opinion, Andreoff can be groomed to be Clifford's successor. Dowd will eventually be flanking that fourth center spot behind Shore.

My biggest gripe with Andreoff, particularly in the first month of the season, was his play away from the puck, missing assignments, struggling to get the puck out of his zone. Opposing teams were feasting on the Kings' fourth line, but they've been more stable of late and less of a liability.

This was always the outcome... don't know why more people didn't realize it at the time. Kings lucked out with the Pacific being a train wreck this year and will probably make the playoffs anyways.

Got to make due until the trade deadline and get some reinforcements. Hopefully this team will be able to get some wins with Shore as the 2C... Wonder if Shore is going to get double shifted because Weal's going to be benched.

You can see the physical pain on Sutter's face behind the bench when he's forced to play someone like Weal. I really enjoy that part of the game.

Lines aren't going to matter, No Carter means the Kings are a three player team

Kopitar/Drew/Quick.

Better hope someone like Muzzin catches fire.
