I'm sure someone will chime in and complain about it, but I think Toffoli has 50 goal potential on another team. He has all the tools to make it happen.

This season I expect him to get 30-35.

I don't think LA has a 40 goal scorer for a long time. But Toffoli goes to the goal scoring areas so you never know.

there hasnt been 40 goals scored in one season of Kings hockey in my lifetime. i think Toff could do it but idk if its likely

Ha, I meant - I don't think LA will have a 40 goal scorer for a long time.

Bruins fan coming in peace.

Has Lucic been "good Lucic" for you guys so far? It still feels really weird not seeing him on the ice in Boston.

He's looked solid. He's set up some really great goals. I'm satisfied with his play all things considered.

He looked slow and out of place playing on the first line with Kopi and Gabby. However, once moved to Carter and Toffoli's line, he has looked good.

I've always been a Lucic fan, so, yeah, I'm good.

He started out poorly but that was because he was anchored to our so-called first line. He has found new chemistry on the second line with Carter and Toffoli and has made some real sweet passes like he did last night. Just that not many have been converted through no fault of his own.

I've been to all the home games and although he generally appears slow he has moments of burst energy and has beaten defenseman on the wings. So far, I like what I see.

Agreed and defensemen and forwards down low trying to move the puck out of their zone have been put on notice. You can tell they know he's coming to deliver a hit and it affects them.

When he strings several of those energy bursts together over a game he can be one of the most dominant players in the league. Obviously, he doesn't do that consistently, but I'm glad to see he is showing "good Lucic" after what was mostly slow Lucic last year.

totally agree: lucic is on the right line now. it's clicking much better than at first.

Looking at the Kopitar goal, I wonder if the refs would've given him a penalty shot the way Ward threw his stick to make the save had he stopped the puck.

I am surprised that Bob and Jim didn't mention the possibility of a penalty shot.

Ward obviously threw his stick.

kinda makes me miss the shootout...
