Again I'm not saying It wasn't good. Now show me where he was in the slot at all during the other 20 plus minutes. I don't care if he doesn't score, he needs to at least be a threat and had his ass planted against the boards most of the night in the O zone

I know it's weird considering they won 3 to nothing on the tail end of a back to back, but I don't think they played well. Imo they were outplayed most of the game. They had a few shifts where they dominated but if they get stuck in their own zone like they did against a decent team they will be in trouble.
Not trying hate on kopi, but if he wants to get paid he needs to do more than playing defence. Hell Lewis looks better on offence and creating more chances at this point.

Yup. Kopi didn't have his best game though, he was gift wrapped that goal on a horrid hand pass from Hainsey. But, he still shut down Staal and the team got a shutout. There's not much to harp about these last few games, this 4 game win streak pretty much redeems the **** start they had. Much better effort and execution as a team, even though Carter and Toffoli are pretty much carrying the offense right now.
baby steps. sometimes a goal is all it takes to get someone going. besides, ill take 1 goal and 20 minutes of nonsense vs 20 minutes of nonsense and no goal

Haters? Please. How come anyone who criticizes a player, and rightfully so, is a hater?
Kopitar has all the tools to be a consistent dominant center in the NHL - speed, size, intelligence, hands. No excuses.
I want to see this guy absolutely shred opposing teams. Especially ones of Carolinas ilk.

Just that the D's an adventure, hey look McBain is in! Well it could be Greene
The offense is non existent with the exception of Lucic/Carter/Toffoli. That line accounts for 69% of the teams goals. (Shore/Gaborik/Kopitar are the only other Kings to have scored)
The bottom 6 lacks the experience at the center position.
The combination of the D and lack of shut down ability for the bottom 6 is going to make it difficult to keep winning games down the road. As long as Toffoli's on pace for 2,000,000 goals this season and the golies are allowing 1,0 goals in a game, it doesn't matter.

His rate is about 72 or so, but yes realistically I can see him getting 40.
