He's stealing all of Caufield's power play goals.
Was he injured all the time with Columbus? Laine's shot looks like his early Jets one again.
Caufield before Laine : 24-16-6-22
Caufield after Laine : 8-1-7-8
Wow he really is stealing all his powerplay goals then. Went from a 54 goal pace to a 10 goal pace.
He's literally occupying the same spot on the PP which used to belong to caufield.
Laine needs to be a true teammate and give it back. One is in a contract year and one isn't. Laine can have it back after Caufield's next contract is done.
I think caufield is locked up for a long time.
There was a second shooterIt might just be an optical illusion, but if you really slow it down I swear it looks like the stick is already broken before the puck gets to it.
Edit: slow it down to frame by frame. The stick starts off straight, then seems to snap while the puck is on its way.

Will he ever score an even strength goal this year though
I mean, all his 7 goals have come from the exact same spot. Everyone knows it's coming but it just keeps working.
This is the backup stick you switch to if you are pissed off at someone and need to send a message. You know that goal never would have happened had Seider been equipped with old faithful:
