CapFriendly (IIRC) has an expansion team tool and I feel like I've put together infinitely better lineups. I feel like Vegas could put together a CBJ-esque (prior to this year) team with basically 2 second lines, 2 third lines, and 6 top-four d-men--they'll be light on top-end talent, but they should be uber-deep. I like the philosophy because they'll be competitive but certainly not world-beaters.

This. Budaj is pretty low on the list of goalies LV will take. I believe Bernier will be a UFA too so there's that.

Honestly, I think there will be better options for LV to take on D than what we have.

No every line up I've seen Brodz has played wing. Kempe has been used mostly at center this year.

The difference between Brodz and them, is he has the most wicked / accurate wrister in the system, including the LA King players not named Carter, Toffoli and perhaps Pearson. His overall game keeps getting better as well. He should be in the NHL next year. Hope it's with the Kings. (get Duh-Wight King and lesser talent outta here to make room)

Possible i guess I don't think McNabb is high end enough thou. Also don't see us trading a bunch of picks Dean has said that we need to start restocking the cupboard.

However if it means getting landeskog i would be ok with trading any pick other then a 1st He is signed for 4 years (so non rental and is young 24 So would fit with toffoli and pearson for the future

Fleury has way to much term for the kings to be remotely interested imo. I think maybe they were there to scout greene (for picks )

Probably right, but I'm not happy about it! Guess it's better to trade Greene if he isn't going to play because of the youth movement.

I really hope he does that this year to stock pile picks even if the Kings are still in it.

Guys like Greene, Gilbert, Clifford, Brown, Gaborik, King should be all made available. Losing these guys and replacing some with other players via trades or players from Ontario wouldn't hurt at this point.

If we deal a first again that's a tough blow so the only way to compensate is to deal scrubs for picks to stock the other rounds.
