I feel like most of the wheels already fell off a few months ago.

I don’t think we were-are inherently the worst team in the league. I penciled us in for fourth to sixth worst. We are currently 1-3 points off that pace, pre-TDL.

The wheels have not fallen off IMO. They have been playing pretty well and they compete every night. Even in losses to Philly and Tampa they played well.

I think that’s part of the challenge. I think people expect this team to look really bad all the time and lose closer to 60 games.

For me, that’s never been the expectation. I figured they’d win 35 or so games, match up better against some teams than others, and ultimately bedone in by a lack of scoring depth and their defense.

For the most part, that’s pretty much what they’ve done since December.

You can sign other veterans who will come even cheaper to fill the gaps.

Zucc is going to get a 3 year deal somewhere probably around 5 mill. Easiest of passes.

Please pay attention to what Brooks said. There's a very real possibility that they'll sign Zucc to a new contract in the off-season, and also make him captain. Stop underrating him, this is ridiculous.

I'm pretty sure he'll be looking for 3-4 years and around 5M per, some term is in the cards if they want him as captain.

And finally, if they agree on a deal, this is something he deserves.
