What’s to get back on topic about at this moment?

2. Byfield being a bust
3. Teubert sucked.
4. Turcotte sucks
5. Vilardi got shafted
6. Vilardi trade was amazing
7. Kings stayed the same with all the moves
8. Kings are soft
9.kings have gotten so good
10.Todd an idiot.
11. Blake an idiot.
12.Yanetti a sleazy idiot.
13. PLD bromance.
14.Kopitar being softer than charmin
15.Ziggy stardust posting an irrelevant kings factoid from the 1700s
16.Axl and his Alts fantasizing about Todd.
17. KingsHockey24 fantasizing about Clifford.
We just need to start the season or this sexual tension will continue to build.
Could make predictions and see how they hold up. Most of the big moves have been made
PLD is a big hit with the Kings. 30G/80Pt.
Fiala leads the Kings in scoring with 90 points
Kopitar falls off to around 20/65 and for the first time in his career is not considered the Kings 1C by the end of the season.
Danault's offensive stats fall off big. Less than 40 points.
Danault is dominant in a shutdown role.
Trevor Moore shows again that 2021-2022 was a career year at a perfect time for him.
Clarke finishes as a Calder candidate. He becomes a big star on the PP. This is what a lot of impact players in the NHL do, they come in at 20 and they look the part. He becomes despised by our rivals in the same way Zegras is here.
The Kings Power-Play is Top 5 in the league
The Kings PK is not in the Top 20
Doughty cedes a lot of offensive icetime to Clarke and fails to score at a 40+ point pace for the first time since 2014. Doughty still proves to be an effective defensive stopper.
Byfield scores between 35-40 points, 12 goals, enough for his truthers to say he is showing improvement offensively but not enough for his doubters to say he hasn't been a disappointing pick. The debate will still be raging a year from now.
Turcotte scores his first goal and point and plays around 25-30 games. Has 6 points and is on the fringe of of the lineup for the playoffs.
Bjornfot does not finish the season with the Kings
Spence crushes it in the AHL but has no spot in the NHL for this season. But will next season...
The Kings are priced out of Roy and he plays out his contract and signs elsewhere.
The Kings goaltending is an issue all year and they end up trading Moore or Arvidsson, + picks for a goaltender they can trust in the playoffs, sometime before the deadline.
The Kings finish 3rd in the Pacific behind Vegas and Edmonton and lose to the Oilers in the 1st round again. Some teams just don't match up well with other teams and continually have to play them in the playoffs. We are basically Craig Ehlo vs. Michael Jordan when we play the Oilers. Our best hope is Vegas doesn't win the division and it's either the Kings or Oilers. But right now it's likely Vegas wins the division and the Kings/Oilers finish 2/3.
MacLellan is made the scapegoat and fired after the season.
Blake is retained as GM and incredibly given another coach by Robitaille.
Welcome back to the LA Kings, coach Ian Lapperiere.
Pinelli has a really good AHL season, gets a cup of coffee and is a favorite to be the 4C a season from now.
Edmonton gets over the hump and wins the Stanley Cup.
Robitaille goes on The Pravda Podcast next summer and says "We lost to the champs, ya know" , 17 times.
Axl sends me DM's all summer saying "They lost to the champs ya know"
Kaliyev scores 25 goals and establishes himself as a serviceable 3rd option on a scoring line.
Trevor Lewis is this years corpse. (We have to have one every year, right?).
Other
The Rangers throw in the towel on Laf and move him at the deadline.
Owen Power will have a big breakthrough season and be a consensus #1 d-man by the end of the season.
Jake Sanderson will do the same
Cole Caufield has 48 goals in 84 games with Marty St. Louis as coach. He will score 45-50 goals this season.
Logan Cooley runs away with the Hobey Baker and will be the #1 prospect at this time next year
Buffalo makes the playoffs
Pittsburgh misses the playoffs again
San Jose will be the worst team in the league
Brock Faber will be the defensive focused version of Brandt Clarke. Just like Clarke, to good to not play a lot.
Jack Hughes outscores Nathan MacKinnon
The players the Kings traded to Winnipeg have similar numbers to last year.
