So, guessing at some options now:
- someone not making league minimum will have to go, but considering free agency has started, a lot of teams probably won't take on contracts. The exception of course, is a rebuilding team willing to take one, but you have to attach assets to take it.
- going with a shortened roster for chunks of time. So look for the prospects to go through the minor league shuffle (i.e. Spence or Clarke being sent down to the AHL) - maybe even Grundstrom being waived and sent down to the AHL.

So, just more depth being spent to accommodate PLD.
