Pretty sure it's Vukie Mpofu and Jake Goldberg

They're great
Thanks Jesse — in general, if you’re ever able to get more scouts on the podcast I find them to be really interesting, very thoughtful folks and give a really good behind-the-curtain feel of the teams brain-trust.

Thought of the day:::::::::
Few realize it, but Carl Grundstrom scored 14 goals in SHL at age 18/19 and then 17 in SHL at age 19/20 in Frolunda. That's impressive.
Now consider this: At age 19, Adrian Kempe scored 5 goals in the SHL.
Think about this one, for 3-4 minutes. If you only think about this for less than 3 minutes. you have not pondered the true upside of Carl Grundstrom.

Now further recall the goal Carl scored with Darnel Nurse on his back...and somehow outmuscled him and got the puck in the net...whilst flat on the ice.

I vote for Carl on the PP and remove Iafallo.

Grundstrom has been a sneaky effective player for the Kings. His main problem is that in the past he could be sent to Ontario without having to clear waivers and there were higher priced vets on the team that were played over him even though they stunk. Got to try to get your money's worth out of those bad contracts I guess. The days of signing bridge vets for more than the minimum should be over.

Carl has all the tools to be a prime net front staple on any PP unit. Baffles me how he has yet to get his shot.
There is a pecking order of respected veterans that must be honored before the upstarts get to breathe their rarified air.

I mean, they haven't won a damn thing in 8 years, and never won anything without their training wheels, but who is counting, right?

No youngin’ power play time until Dustin’s statue is erected, I bet.

Always thought Grundstrom was being underused & not given fair shake.

5 goals in 15 games with his first taste of hockey wasnt enough?
Last season 9 goals in 54 games not getting consistent playing time.
3 goals in 6 playoff games.

Barring coaches thinking he is a liability he certainly isnt given any credit for the numbers he has put up.

As for Hrudey we used to joke at the Hrudey flop or say he is playing like a man on fire in that his MO is to stop, drop, and roll.

Awesome stuff. I will maintain until the day I die that Quick is the best money goaltender of his generation.
If Quick was playing on a east coast team he would have some additional trophys in his case.

What, you just want to GIVE players playing time? He needs to wait until 10 other forwards retire or get terminally ill. He needs to PAY HIS DUES until then.

:sarcasm:

Jesus Christ guys, this has been discussed a million times. I think Cyclone22 explained it very well above. Now that Brown is out, we probably see a bigger role for Grundstom this next year.
