There is no combination of players that will change the trajectory of this team right now. Too many regulars are out. It is time to see what the kids can bring in pressure games and which "vets" are done and which bridge players are not in the future plans. In the off season we clean house and bring in NHL players that can fill major voids in the roster. Size, mobility and scoring in all positions. It will be a huge accomplishment just making the playoffs this year with the injuries and the "special" teams performances. Any move at the TDL will need to be for the future as well.

I’m not sold on Chychrun because of injuries and some of the advanced stats so I wouldn’t mind if this were true but I I wouldn’t put any stock into it. Hoven is usually wrong unless he’s talking about small things like lineup changes or injuries and even then he’s 50/50. He’s so eager to have a scoop that he regularly makes these bold declarative statements when he couldn’t possibly have all the info. There’s no way Blake is telling a hobby blogger what’s really going on in the front office.

He said that on his interview the other day with 'Boomer'....but the funny thing is, that JC will probably be dealt in the next 6 days and there will be on another team. So no opportunity later.

His first few shifts were great and was about 3 inches from putting a nice, quick shot, over the goalies pads. Todd never gives him a real chance. Ever.
6 goals in 4 games on the Reign, including 2 between the legs...after the game he said "it's a lot easier than it looks" But most Kings could not do that, at least executed flawlessly like Lias can.

I do like that second line combo. Only with Andersson and Iafallo switched.

I wouldn't touch Moore-Danault combo, and the Byfield line's looked pretty good.
But definitely need to change up that top line, give more minutes to the bottom 6, and switch Iafallo and Byfield on PP1.

Bennett runs Quick - no one except Durzi says anything.

MacDermid, Aubel and McKinnon all laying big hits. Even saw Moore going at it with Manson.

Rob Blake should know better - he had McSorley, Parker, Cummins, Ivanans, May as teammates through out his career.

This team is piling up injuries and filled with young players. Can't depend on Lemieux to protect everyone.

If he doesn't want to make a move for a one dimensional player like Clifford, Gabriel, or Olivier then make a move for a Tyler Bertuzzi or Jacob Middleton.

The first line is beyond atrocious.The problem I see is breaking up line 1 will ripple through all the other lines (id like to keep line 2 and 3 as is).. Maybe just reduce their minutes significantly? Def do not give them the toughest D assignment like last night vs McKinnon. A reduction in minutes is a simple tweak that could pay off...
