Moverare would have been the perfect 7th D but he hasn't been used as such. Now he should be playing the left side on the 3rd pairing, but will he be ignored again?
Starting to feel like all 4 guys in king of the hill. Just standing there drinking a beer saying Yup, a huh, alright.Moverare would have been the perfect 7th D but he hasn't been used as such. Now he should be playing the left side on the 3rd pairing, but will he be ignored again?
Only the old farts gonna get this one
Same pace lol. Talk about lies, damn lies and statistics in regard to pace. Horrendous defensive coverage, worst goaltending in the league, terrible PK. There is no relief in sight for goaltending. Zero. The Kings were competitive last season because of defense and Quick having a bit of renaissance.
Edler/Walker need to be off the roster completely. Roy is being weighed down by Durzi being forced to play left. Durzi is hampered by playing on the left. Last season, Durzi/Tobi was decent as a 3rd pairing. It wasn't until they were forced to be first pairing because of injuries did they start failing as a pairing. Quick looks cooked. Cal is in the minors. The Kings have no #1 goaltender. No turnaround in sight without one.
Photoshop Mayors Manor on his shirt or something.
And the Danault line was put together and caught fire. Based on that, sure, things could turn around but it doesn't really seem like it will be solely from the current roster. And even so, the expectations were completely different.
Amazing that some of us said to move Walker for a 7th or just waive him and hope he gets claimed before the season started but here we are with Clarke just sitting on his f***ing ass halfway through December.
This is the kind of shit that I hate about his tweets. Says nothing but implies everything. Then nothing happens. Dudes a bozo.
He was dicked around by Team Canada too. He scored in his first fame in the WJC and only played one game after that. He had the fewest minutes on the team, I think.I am more worried about how Spence is being treated.
Only non-1st rounder to make Team Canada in the WJCs. First team AHL All-Star, quarterbacking the all-time greatest PP in AHL history, can't play in the NHL on a mediocre team because Walker and Durzi are putzing around ahead of him.
Right now, in this moment, Jordan Spence is arguably the second best defenseman in the organization, yet he is 10th on the NHL depth chart.
Agree as many have said his defensive deficiency outweighs his offensive numbers. He's just brutal. I bet Spence can quarterback that second unit just as well or even better. My 2 cents.Durzi is the defenseman who has got to go. His production is pointless when he's constantly hemming his own team in the defensive zone and constantly bleeds goals. He is the drizzling shits in his own zone, and I'm dumbfounded how any coach with a working pair of eyes would send his dumbass on the ice in penalty killing situations.
100%. And I can guarantee you he wouldn't surrender all the shorthanded breakaways that Durzi does.Agree as many have said his defensive deficiency outweighs his offensive numbers. He's just brutal. I bet Spence can quarterback that second unit just as well or even better. My 2 cents.
You don't think there's room for a PP specialist on the team?Durzi is the defenseman who has got to go. He is the drizzling shits in his own zone, and I'm dumbfounded how any coach with a working pair of eyes would send his dumbass on the ice in penalty killing situations.
The Kings have a record of 8-7 when Durzi gets on the scoresheet, and they're 7-7 when he doesn't produce. You don't think there's room for a PP specialist on the team?
The coach is misusing him. There's a way to manage these types of players and make them an asset to the team.
That said, I wouldn't be opposed to trading him either.
Yes, but I'm saying it's not his fault TMac is trying to use him as an all around Dman. The Kings have a record of 8-7 when Durzi gets on the scoresheet, and they're 7-7 when he doesn't produce.
His production is ineffective when he does more harm than good.
Kempe is worth Gavrikov plus not the other way aroundKempe, Roy, and a pick for Gavrikov
Not to a team with aspirations to win playoff rounds.Kempe is worth Gavrikov plus not the other way around
You are partly right and partly wrong. Durzi is a pp specialist. He isn't a bottom pair defenseman. Bottom pair requires playing some even strength. His proper usage is on a team dressing 7D and he only plays pp. There is a reason several of us discussed trading him over the summer.Yes, but I'm saying it's not his fault TMac is trying to use him as an all around Dman.
It's ludicrous that he's being played 20 minutes per night.
He's a bottom pair Dman and PP specialist. You utilize him in that fashion, and he can be an asset not a liability.
