This Domi kid is gonna get on a lot of Kings nerves in the future. I can see it. He's gonna be a terror for the Yotes.

Yeah, he definitely has his dad's jackass streak. And man, I thought the main board was dumb, then I ventured into the USA/Canada thread on the WJC board... Whoa baby!

A whole different level of stupid going on in that thread, I got out of there immediately

I got out when a Canadian fan said that IIHF rules make it okay for someone to run over a goalie as long as the puck is in the crease :shakehead

I still have no idea how that goal was allowed, and it figures it was the one that basically won them the game. But of course, according to Canadian fans, they DOMINATED!!!! ***** please.

As a Canadian I agree that goal should not have counted. Looked like interference to me

I have not seen a stupider penalty then that 3rd period high stick on the PK by Russia.

While already down a man, he waved his stick in the face of a player away from play, missed once, did it again and made contact with his face, called for it to give ~1:30 of 5 on 3 (that the USA continued to WASTE)

Kempe vs Lintuniemi right now. Kempe looks rock solid, I know Lombardi isn't big on the European kids but this guy looks very good.

Mikko Rantanen is a Fin we liked to get. 6'4" size and skill. His stock is rising so he might be out of the Kings reach come draft time.

Kempe finishes the quarter finals against Finland with 1g 1a, both on the PP.

Been thinking about which Kings player he resembles the most, I'm thinking he's like a winger version of Jarret Stoll. Skates pretty well, works hard in the corners and throws his body around.. got a pretty good shot when he gets time and space.

Heartbreaking to lose it again so early on. Lets go Kempe and Sweden, if the Americans can't win gold lets let the Kings win a little bit of it...and the Leafs and..you get the point.

I think Stoll is more physical and faster. Kempe reminds me Patrik Berglund at same age. A tall, lanky kid, who doesn't have much strenght yet. Not naturally aggressive/abrasive. Skating will be better, when he gets more legpower.

I agree, Berglund is a good comparison indeed. Was trying to match him with a current Kings player, Stoll and Dwight King were the closest comparisons I could think of. Like a cross between the two, more the size of Stoll than King though.
