Oh shit, I don't know forsure but that article almost made it sound like if the jersey switch is made next year, it will be permanent chrome domes on the road

They won’t do it because they need to create a “new” jersey to sell to fans, but I hope they just go with a true throwback and go with the actual 90’s jerseys like the Flames and Oilers have done. The chrome logo is unnecessary and it always annoys me when teams bring back a jersey that everyone likes better but with a small twist so that everyone needs to buy another version.

100% agreed. If they're going to do the switch I pray it's just a genuine throwback. No need for alterations, the chrome kit jersey has alterations and they don't do the jersey any favors IMO

Yes, please. Think its time for a logo change. Never liked the homeplate. That mock up of the black looks odd, couldn't put my finger in it. It’s the collar. Needs the silver and white around it.
 
Saw the tweet from the mayor about new jerseys for next year and I was jacked. Than read and it is will black and grey still...less jacked. Then read it will be chev logo instead of crown....GOD DAMNIT!!




I'm still going to buy though
 
Kings just doing everything they can to get me to start following other teams. At least they are doing well in the record column. But man the decisions being made lately are really getting to me, and you can add me to the list that wants more color, less chevy logo and monochrome look.

Look on the bright side though, atleast the Hull Olympiques didn't wear pink and yellow when Luc played there.

Luc is too infatuated with the Gretzky era. I mean, that's his era, I get it, but he is just all in on the Chevy logo black and silver idea and always has been. Hopefully, they take into consideration just how popular the reverse retro campaign got and why that was. The fanbase has been clamoring for a modern/updated look that uses the original colors of the franchise.
 
I'm a huge we need more purple and gold proponent

but i do love the chrome domes

just wish they wore the thirds MUCH more often and made them available, they seem to want to restrict them, and going forward Fanatics is trucking that all up anyway so

imagine a set based on the white reverse retro? Gold and purple home and 3rd jerseys to complete the set. Or Purple home and a black and silver third. Why are they big braining this?

Kings fans don't respond with their wallets to the forum blue and gold jerseys because the Team LA Store will not stock them. All you can get on Team LA right now is a Dionne or Taylor jersey that looks like this:
