What the hell, the Flyers have a furry night?
If there ever was a recipe for success with a an average goaltender, this is it. No reason to think he won’t replicate his numbers from some of his better seasons if the Kings can keep this up. Not sure if it’ll translate to postseason success, but it’ll definitely do in the regular season.
True, so the question becomes how many more tries do you give Copley?I think the bigger concern is longevity.
Great, we have one serviceable-to-good goaltender, but you can't give him 50-60 games.
I'm cheering for Talbot but I think people are far too optimistic about our goaltending situation as a whole, it's going to be a story the entire season, a winning streak is nice but masks the issue.
More than 3.True, so the question becomes how many more tries do you give Copley?
Depends on your definition of entertainment. I’ll always consider two cups more entertaining than a locker room celly after a regular season win in the first month of the season.I know some here can't stand the Rob Blake, but it's hard to dispute that he has built the most entertaining and fun Kings team to watch in quite a long time. Whatever the faults of the team, being boring is not one of them.

But that’s just me.
next 10So Copley is obviously getting one of the next two (probably Pittsburgh), if (big if) that goes well, no reason to not give him the next one, Philly on the second of a back-to-back.

2 B2B's, and two large breaks, Copley may only get 2 games (Pitt and Montreal), LA only playing 1 team ahead of them in the standings as of Nov 5 (Vegas) time to rack up some wins (they need to improve their home record)
Woulda been nice to get some teams while they are down like SJ Oilers and Flames. Oilers and Flames will surely tighten up by the time LA plays em.After the Vegas game, we'll have played the "hard" part of our schedule and will have the easiest remaining schedule in the NHL.
I'm not against that, but at the same time, I think we all acknowledge that Talbot can't play 60+. However, the schedule doesn't get tough until after the all-star break when they play 34 games in roughly 70 days, including 5 back-to-backs. So maybe it's addressed then when someone, be it Copley, Rittich or someone acquired via trade is probably gonna get 10+ of those 34 starts.next 10

But you're right, now is the time for them to stack wins, 12 games in basically a month and mostly weaker competition.
We've been on a roll on the road and played well but nothing comes easy in the NHL now-a-days. Pitt and Florida, still has a lot of great players, and the rest of the teams except Montreal are better or still decent. Plus, this team have been no bueno at home so far 1 and 4 technically, so need to win some home games that's for sure.next 10

Maybe if he were in his walk year, but 3 more years, that's a pass for me.Ok, absolutely crazy idea.
Campbell at 50% about 2.5 AAV.
His numbers went in the tank when traded to Edmonton. He was good in LA & Toronto.
Can he rebound to a backup or better level?
