I like AA b/c he was willing to gamble to make the team better.
Absolutely agree with this , it’s been 56 years . Sooner or later the Leafs need a cup like the Raptors

Imagine how she feels if it wasn't entirely true but purely a negotiating tactic...I guess this was Shanny’s retort.
Somehow the job is easier and less of an impact on his family if he makes more money. Makes me lose all respect tbh. I was one of his biggest supporters around here, thru everything. This disgusts me tbh.I'm not sure I follow. Apparently, Kyle said, "I need to talk about this with my family. I have talked about it with my family. I would like to continue to do it." This is the managerial equivalent of two for flinching.
Feels like we're back in a chaos era
Or hear me out…. He actually took time to speak to his family. Crazy, I know.590 are eviscerating Dubas “used your kids as pawns”
It was live streamed on YouTube so I assume you should be able to watch thati missed the presser ... is there a recording ?
And then by Wednesday demanded more!Or hear me out…. He actually took time to speak to his family. Crazy, I know.
He was runner up last time. What changed?Anyone who suggests Hunter as the successor is not serious.
Can't expect much from a Brock sports management grad can weIt's not even shocking. He leaked stuff openly to Mirtle for years as AGM, and used it to posture getting Lou's job. But, people didn't want to hear it 5 years ago, and maybe don't want to hear it now.
Because knowing and managing the organization is his job. Him not having a grasp on where Dubas was at this whole year before his contract was up so we're left scrambling with numerous critical decisions to be made is now a huge issue. Outlets have been reporting that Dubas and Shanahan had barely been speaking, yet Shanahan was apparently fully ready to bring him back even after another disappointing season. How did you come to that conclusion?
Everything I heard tells me, Dubas' agent led Shanahan on. And once everything was settled, Kyle pulled a fast one and pretty much said, not sure I want to be the GM here, but if you give me truck loads of money, I guess I'll do it.
Shanahan, being fully in control. basically told Kyle to stick it. Sounded like he felt a little disrespected in how it was handled (especially the end part of the negotiations), and he does not want a GM that is not fully committed.
I enjoyed Brendan's presser, except for the part about not letting Keefe go.
Onward and upward.
Impressed. I thought Shanny had gone soft over these years. Clearly not.
Nonsensical turning on Dubas for what Shanny said. Even Shanny said he didn't mind anything Kyle said at the press conference.
All I saw was essentially Kyle negotiating a better contract and Shanny had a realization that he no longer thought Kyle was the guy to run the org.
So… you lost respect because someone took time to speak to his family, figured out what would make the stress worth it and then asked for it? Essentially something 99% of people would do?Somehow the job is easier and less of an impact on his family if he makes more money. Makes me lose all respect tbh. I was one of his biggest supporters around here, thru everything. This disgusts me tbh.
I’m sure it was true, but it came off to me like he wanted everyone to know how awful it was to not have a contract all year.Imagine how she feels if it wasn't entirely true but purely a negotiating tactic...
Yep, his performance has earned him a statue in the Ringling Brothers Hall of Fame.TBH I’m ready to move on from Shanny too with how things have been handled
Might as well fire him tooOne thing for sure, Shanahan is clearly in the crosshairs now. It's his show no matter which GM he hires.
Yeah.. you know, speak to your family see what things could make the stressful job more worth it, like 99% the people would do?And then by Wednesday demanded more!
