I think his favorite teams growing up was Toronto and he played for Pitt, so probably a combination of that. Unless "lost his shit" meant he was angry, then I'm not sure lol

The podcast is on youtube and chapter bookmarked. You can go directly to the Dubas section. Dude lost his marbles, and it seemed more genuine than typical character stuff. You could take his take - and the initial reaction of Kyperos and they're exactly the same. Questioning his character etc. Bunch of hypocrites tbh. I'm sure if either of them had a better opportunity lined up they would refuse out of some sort of....moral high ground??....with their current gigs. Especially if that current gig fired them. They would lick their wounds and sit quietly in the corner - not take another gig. The takes on Dubas have honestly been the most extreme reactions I've ever seen in hockey. I hope, like another former Leaf, Dubas comes here and gives them the absolute middle finger going forward.
My take is that Biz in the 'mainstream' media mob now more than ever - and THOSE folks are utterly obsessed with Toronto. Like most mainstream media - they're basically in sync with one another. There's no variations of takes from TSN to the talking heads to the broadcast booth....they all said the same things wrg Dubas taking another job, Pittsburgh being washed, etc. As if we needed any more fuel to the fire for success - I hope that stuff is draped in the locker room next year and we rub it in their faces.

I know he wont sign for 10M/year but that would make lots of folks mad because he got him cheaper and for longer term. Pens become the Jerks v 2.0.
