In fairness Foligno didn’t play much so that’s not the best example. But it’s a good point in that he’s made a lot of changes and there isn’t a lot of adjustment time left.

He’s filled the roster needs though.

Trading a 22 year old for a 1st round pick isn't replenishing. They can go and spend that pick this week for all I care.

If the Leafs have any hope to retain ROR beyond this season, they will not be taking anymore big swings. Which means that they will most likely keep it.

The team is miles better today for playoff hockey. We look worse and more ugly on paper, and that is the absolute beauty of it.

Not a fan of moving Sandin but with the shuffling he’s doing, hard to say as there may be things yet unseen. Hopefully it isn’t too much shuffling and the new guys can quickly plug and play.
