I think he's following Harold Ballard's playbook and he's going to make money selling programs at the games.

I know I'm gonna need one.

Pendulum has swung to far the opposite direction. McCabe and Lafferty should have been the finishing piece. No way I would have traded Sandin and Engvall.

This could be great don't get me wrong, but if we fail at the first hurdle we once again put ourselves in the position of being the laughing stock of the league.

These are the moves of a desperate GM pandering to Media pressures.

As for Luke Schenn, I personally don't enjoy reheated soup.

Got rid of 2 player who are too passive for play off hockey. I like what he’s done a lot

Imagine we traded back for Campbell!

Like him or hate him, Kyle has layed his balls on the table this deadline.

Let's take a minute to appreciate the work. Once again..... whether you agree with the moves or not.

It's up to the players/staff now.
I feel like he isn't done yet either. Would be shocked if Holl isn't moved and wouldn't be surprised at all if he doesn't try to upgrade from Kerfoot in the top 9 as well. The winter of Dubas!!

Not too long ago I was on the bandwagon to get rid of Dubas in the offseason but have changed my mind. I think he's been planning for awhile how to remake the team for the playoffs and he's put the plan into action like he knows what he's doing. Willing to give him another year based on recent trades.
Would still like Kerfoot and Holl traded though.

2023/03/05 update: Changed my mind back. Kerfoot and Holl still here so he hasn't done quite enough at TDL. Newcomers are too little/too late. His "core" needs trimming down. Rielly needs to be moved out. Coach needs to be replaced with a better one. Get at 'er Dubas or you're gone!

Making moves are nice and stuff but I'm worried he's actually doing too much. This is a lot of movement for a team in the top 5 in the NHL.
Certainly concerned with the chemistry. Too much, or just enough? A lot will fall to the locker room leadership to bring the new guys in and make them believe that they're here to be a part of something special.

i assume holl stays because of his "hits" but kerfoot is a weird spot right now... if leafs can swap him for another quality possession driven driver, oh boy

He should have "laid his balls on the table" after the loss to Montreal debacle. Better late than never I guess.

Hear me out... Konecny's cap = Kerfoot + Holl...

We have a couple of 1sts... he has 3 years left...

Bunting - Matthews - Marner
Knies - Tavares - Nylander
Jarnkrok - ROR - Konecny
Lafferty - Kampf - Acciari

Rielly - Schenn
McCabe - Brodie
Gio - Liljegren

Murray
Samsonov

We already successfully integrated ROR and Acciari, so they are non issue. So we have 3 guys to integrate, but they are blue collar type guys this team really needed and that don’t play super high up the lineup, so it’s hard to imagine it being overly bumpy to work them in
