You know how we always poke fun at others about trading close to half the team mid season involving like 10 teams on the trade thread. Don't think I will do that anymore bc Dubas is doing the exact same thing.

Look at all the new players since Opening Day.

Timmins, ROR, Acciari, Lafferty, McCabe, Gustafsson, Schenn and probably more are still coming.

Here's the thing, Dubas and company know damn well that Tampa is going to play tough and very physical. With Dubas getting rid of Sandin and Engvall while replacing them with ROR, Acciari, McCabe, Lafferty, and Schenn, he is looking to match that.

His team does not want to get pushed around in the playoffs, and he is doing something about it to counter that.
