Kucherov Appears to Intentionally Trip Rasmussen As He Scores

You clearly missed the parallax case that was all over the internet. There were so many wrong opinions I could not believe people were so stupid.
It sounds like you’re the smartest person on the internet. Do you mind heading to Washington to solve all our problems rather than posting here? Thanks man, we’re counting on you.

The Dunning-Kruger effect continues to be proven right.

Are you claiming he isn’t tough?
He’s not a big guy, there are lots of players in the league that could destroy him. It’s clearly jsut never gotten to that point.

I remember a few years back Kronwall leveled him and he got right back up. Called the hit clean after the game too I believe.

He also got one of his ribs fractured by a crosscheck during the playoffs against the islanders and still finished the playoffs.

These are just a couple instances I can remember off the top of my head.

Kuch gets his fair share of cheap shots/rough stuff done to him as well.

He can’t handle losing a random regular season game without attempting to injure someone, so no, he’s not tough.
So tripping is "intent to injure" now huh?

Who knew?

Players get hooked, slashed, etc. all the time when they are going up ice on an empty net even if it ultimately ends up costing them the game(whether it's an automatic goal or just a penalty), just so that the puck doesn't go in the net.

I think where people rightfully take issue is the proximity to the net at which this happens, making this extra dangerous. Flashback of Stamkos braking his leg on a similar play, he was never the same. I don't think this is suspension worthy though, based on precedent.
I don't know if there will be a suspension or not. It's just clear as day, without a shadow of a doubt, that this play was not about preventing a goal. It was sheer frustration. You can deflect all you want by saying "guys take penalties all the time to prevent eng". Totally irrelevant , this obviously isn't what that was. It's inarguable.

Then you factor in that Kucherov has taken cheap shots at guys going for eng's before (i.e Pageau), and has a history of being a bad sport when things don't go his way. He has let frustration get the best of him so many times over the years, this is just another example. Stop making excuses for what was a blatant cheap shot. Even if you don't consider it severe, there is a 0% chance you'd be OK with something like this if the roles were reversed.

And yet when Mayfield makes a routine hockey play that happens to injure Kucherov. Viewed in real time its a nothing burger but Mayfield happened to hit him in a sensitive area by a big defender and Lightning fans are all up in arms. Glad Mayfield dealt out some punishment. This guys a POS.

Look at this shit.

"Routine hockey play" AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Whats dishonest? He tripped him. He didn't cross check him in the face or smash his head into the ice.
What a hypocrite. Neither is cross checking not an intent to injure eh?????? And Mayfields crosscheck was in the middle of a playoff hockey game not during an ENG. And yet that moron narrating that video wanted a 7 game suspension because Mayfield's crosscheck had nothing to do with hockey yet tripping a guy who has no chance of missing an ENG that could have ended up in serious injury is okee dokay.

No, I was giving an example of something that could but didn't happen. Just like the poster I was responding to.
I mean, it isn't a everyday occurence but there has been many cases where a player tripped - legally or not - near boards has caused significant injury. You don't want to gamble with chances there.

For example, McDavid busting his clavicle on the debut season, Stamkos hitting the post and breaking leg bit earlier. Pitkanen career ending heel injury many years ago.

Are you serious here? Tripping a guy ahead of you when he scores on an empty net is 100% a “f*** you, you’re gonna hurt” type of action.
