All this talk about GMs not wanting to f*** each other over despite leverage with the Kane talks, Giroux last year, ROR last week, etc.

This is sour grapes douchebag GMing from the Canucks front office. They're still pissy about last year lol go ahead and punt your team into oblivion some more

Lmao goes to show how well Krav is viewed around the league. Might as well have been future considerations.

Rangers are to blame for drafting him.

His professional failure is on him.
A lot of this is on the player. It was a bad pick but he could have been *something*.

He's 140 pounds and got pissy over being asked to work on it. He got pissy over being in a bottom six role when he was lucky to be in the league at all.

Kravtsov thinks as highly of Kravtsov as Ed does.

Also, remember that a market is what it is and your GM can't make a better market.

As bad as the Blais trade was, I maintain that none of the offers for Buchnevich were knock-down if that's what we took.
“Thank you Edmonton for offering us McDavid and Drai with 50% retention. And thank you Toronto for offering Nylander, Matthews and Marner with 50% retention, but we feel Blais is the better option.”

we all know hes going to light it up with kuzmenko somehow

Lol hes going to get blasted into oblivion whent hey play the Wild and Thursday and that'll be the last we hear of him this season.

He'll get his longer look next year where he'll underwhelm as he always has and then never be heard from again.

There's a chance this is a delayed trade for March 1 when we have enough cap to acquire Kane and we send the 2026 7th round back?

The market was no good and Drury has panic traded before so it could be cut bait trade but the Canucks were in rumor to be in the retention business. We know Krav has to go today and Kane still has to wait until Mar 1.

Glad this kids gone though.

Part of the sad return is that everyone knew the Rangers were under the gun to move him. Not even a "well we can hold onto him if we don't get an offer we like" situation like last year.

Remember when there was a big debate about who was the Rangers top prospect? Othmann or Kravtsov?

lol

Dumbest thing ever. So many people got Jovo'd on that one.

I was adamant about it then and still am now, He didn't belong in our top 5 and its not like this was our top 5 2 years ago.

He sucks.

I remember he looked quite dynamic his first preseason with the team back in 2019 and just looked so much worse now. You have to wonder if the team didn't jerk him around like they did, would have properly developed. We'll never know I guess.

So with krav gone early and Lesch off the roster tomorrow I believe they can get Kane a few days earlier than the deadline if that’s the only moves made

Question now is what is going back in that deal now that vk is in van, Jones with picks? Just jones?

Thats one way to look at it.

I actually have no problem with the way that it played out. If he didn't suck and was a top 9 level player then you have that on a cheap contract.

He blew and they didn't. Glad hes no longer our problem.

Can they get it done now? Like they're clearly going to do it, but the sooner the better so EVERYONE can move forward.

I’m not sure if it’s today but maybe in 2-4 days instead of 6.

Kane is home and Chicago is starting a 3 game west coast swing so his next game will be in a Rangers uni

As much as Chicago is forced to move Kane for whatever they can get to acquire Kane we are forced to move Kravtsov for whatever we can get.......and this kind of shows that a lot of teams are leery of Kravtsov. It's up to him to prove everybody wrong. Will he do that? My guess is he won't.

I've been in the camp to keep Kravtsov around. If that's the return, keep him.

Both sides are at fault for him not panning out; if they developed him properly and if he had the work ethic to get better, the NYR wouldn't be scrambling to trade for Patrick Kane (maybe not even would've had to trade for Tarasenko. It's likely for the best that the team moved on.

It's a shame; he has the talent/skill, but it's being wasted.
