Sorry but there was nothing to suggest that you couldn’t get a first rounder or him being part of a package. The value is now very much so tanked. And as I said to you yesterday, the fact was that he felt slighted whether you agreed or not, and the organization should have taken that into account before turning face and saying no big deal. Sorry but this is a disaster as much as you don’t care.
Lmao his value hasn’t changed what a overreaction post. Drouin basically said he’d never play for the lightning and they still got great value out of him

Right and like I said, Blais beat the pants off of Kravtsov in camp.

Blais could have slowed down after a few games, but Kravtsov decided to throw a fit instead.

I don't disagree that Kravtsov should have handled this better, but I also do not think that we are putting out the best roster possible with Hunt on the 4th line instead of Blais and VK on the 3rd line.

Not the end of the world, but Drury has to get this right

We traded Andersson for a 2nd round pick used to take Will Cullye who was impressive in his first camp this year. That's not nothing.

I know everyone is reacting like this is a poor reflection of the organization and LOL RANGERS type stuff, but I wholly disagree with that. This is a poor reflection on Kravtsov, not the Rangers. He was 'fine' last year in his NHL time. Showed some glimpses but by no means forced his way into the lineup. He's 21 and he's pouting for the second time about being sent to the AHL. This is a character problem.

I also think Drury has a lot less patience with sulking types than Gorton, but that's just a complete guess by me.

Shame if he turns into the next also-ran. Hopefully they can iron things out and keep him here, would still like to see what he can do.

You can't allow players to dictate your moves because you think they're gonna be upset.
The kid was going to be called up sooner rather than later but he’s p
This does not have any effect on his trade value at all.
i don’t see how it can’t have an effect on his trade value at all unless you thought he was absolutely worthless beforehand

There has to be more to this. Kravstov had to know coming in to this season that the wing spots were going to be up in the air and the organization would rather give him big minutes in Hartford than stick him with Rooney and Reaves for 10 minutes per game. Every organization does this…

My guess is Drury is “allowing” them to seek a trade because he has no reason to trade Kravstov unless they get a fair return…so Kravstov’s camp can’t come back in a few weeks and accuse Drury of not trying when all the offers are lowballs.

Either way, this is a pretty disappointing showing from Vitaly.

Just incredibly awful asset management. But let’s not panic yet as some said!

another top 10 pick down the drain.
I curse this franchise, there’s a reason why we’ve won one cup since world war 2. Just an absolute joke. I said that you had to be very careful with what you did with this kid. Regardless, now we have no leverage of getting an equal return. Just complete idiocy. But no big deal.

Yeah, this is exactly what I was saying about it being up to Kravtsov how to respond. This is on him, not the team.

How many teams do you imagine would be interested in trading for him?

Wow, been wrong about them moving on from high profile prospects before but I hope this is not a major mistake. He looked good after he came back from his first tantrum. I think he should have made the team but whatever.

When Gauthier gets traded in the very near future, and this kid actually puts up points, it will get very ugly. Just a shit show, and that’s something you can’t deny.
What makes you so sure he will put up a ton of points. Also, he is soft as a pillow in the corners and is one of those players who currently wont take a hit to make a play. Could he become great....maybe....is it undeniable......absolutely not.

Possibly, yes, but I'm very intrigued by what Blais has to offer with top 9 minutes.

We should be allowed to take a look at that and not worry about a trade being requested because you didn't make the opening night roster at the highest level. That's hockey.

Lmao (see I can do it too), you gave up leverage. The cats out of the bag, teams know somethings up with this kid. Idiocy to think your leverage in a trade hasn’t changed when the perception of the asset has changed.

Were so stacked at forward right now, that him not being in the top9 makes sense. The only guy that he may have been better than is Goodrow, and they're obviously going to give him the benefit doubt.

I don't blame Kravtsov for looking for a better opportunity for himself. Under Gallant's play style, Gauthier is even a legit a threat to take Kravtsov's spot long term too.

I just hope we're able to get a good return for him; this isn't Lias, who was approaching bust territory. Kravtsov will be a top6 forward sooner rather than later.

I agree with all of this.

I have been very impressed with Sammy
