Sorry but there was nothing to suggest that you couldn’t get a first rounder or him being part of a package. The value is now very much so tanked. And as I said to you yesterday, the fact was that he felt slighted whether you agreed or not, and the organization should have taken that into account before turning face and saying no big deal. I do care, I just can't blame the organization.

They can't think "Oh this kid might be a little bitch and request a trade if we send him down for a couple weeks. We better respect that and put him on the roster to make him happy"

I'm sure his name has been brought up in the neck man conversations the whole time, they want more. We were always able to move Krav, one of the three young defenseman and a pick. Kravtsov is talented but he's produced at a lower rate than his youtube sizzle reel at pretty much every level besides KHL playoffs his draft year.

At this point, we're dressing our our 12 best forwards for the Caps.

We would have been willing to play Blais on the 4th line but not Kravtsov. Blais outplayed him significantly and earned a look in the top 9. It's that simple imo.

Kravtsov would have gotten plenty of time if he were patient. He can't act like this.

I saw more drive from Goat than from Krav. You can’t just expect to half ass it and make the team. He’s a rookie not a vet with a proven track record. I mean look at Kakko. He went balls to the walls in preseason even though he had a guaranteed spot.

Blais could have slowed down after a few games, but Kravtsov decided to throw a fit instead.

We traded Andersson for a 2nd round pick used to take Will Cullye who was impressive in his first camp this year. That's not nothing.


I know everyone is reacting like this is a poor reflection of the organization and LOL RANGERS type stuff, but I wholly disagree with that. This is a poor reflection on Kravtsov, not the Rangers. He was 'fine' last year in his NHL time. Showed some glimpses but by no means forced his way into the lineup. He's 21 and he's pouting for the second time about being sent to the AHL. This is a character problem.
