This kid obviously needs to grow up. I’m fairly pro player but this isn’t his first outburst. He clearly has no time for any path that isn’t the one he wants.

Is management supposed to be bullied because a player can't accept that he didn't make the team?
I just don't understand why the request needs to be accepted. Certainly doesn't seem like NYR want to bury the player, he will be called up rather quickly.

Seems so odd. He now knows a lot of the players on Hartford, which with him would have a pretty good team and chances were he wasn't going to be down for very long. Just seems so, premature, I guess.

This reeks of immaturity. You didn’t make the cut off of the opening roster so instead of putting your head down and getting to work for your next opportunity you ask for a trade. How about next you look at how hard you competition (goat) is working and match that. Unacceptable from Krav. I’m very disappointed in him.

Not sure if he feels entitled to a spot, or if the team insinuated he had a spot to lose, as I do recall Gallant kind of doing that.
With what is expected to go on tomorrow night, I'd expect that he would dress at home for Dallas.
If the move to keep Hajek was the tipping point, then shame on both player and Org as its a paper move, but Hajek isn't or hasn't shown to be worth the effort.
Kravtsov's agent has to do a better job explaining why certain decisions are made as its not a reflection on the player, just the situation.

It's in the Rangers' best interests to give him more time/opportunity, but it's also in their best interests to facilitate a trade/maximize the trade value if the player wants out for any reason.

I find Kravstov mostly unimpressive, but neither Friedman or Seravalli said he requested a trade. Someone should change the thread title.

Been underwhelmed by him mostly. Ive seen glimpses that make me think there is a very good player, but this sense of entitlement is ridiculous.

He didn't play well enough to make the team. He wasn't better than Gauthier if you want to compare prospects even if Gauthier is a bit older. He didn't produce in the NHL last year. He didn't produce in the AHL a few years ago. What does he expect? Go to the AHL, show you can score there, and he'll be the first call up as needed. This is the second time now he's run at the first sign of adversity.

We thankfully turned the disappointing malcontent Anderson into Cullye who looks like he will be a player.
I get Kravtsov being disappointed and frustrated but this the is the second time not making the team as a young player is causing him to have a bad off the ice reaction. I'm not thrilled at all with this kid's character in what we've learned about him thus far, seems like an entitled baby in the same vein as Anderson. Could go down to Hartford and play for a week or two and then be back with the Rangers. Chytil did it, Kreider did it and many players in between have done it with no complaints. If Kravtsov is too good for that, get him out of here.
In a previous era something like this would be devastating but considering we have Kakko and Lafreniere it softens the blow. Kakko, Lafreniere and Panarin all locked in to top 6 winger slots. From a roster building perspective, turning Kravtsov into a center prospect actually makes sense so hopefully we can do that.

I honestly can't really blame him for his bitterness at this point. I'm still wondering why he didn't make the team myself. I think more effort should've been made to facilitate his inclusion.
