It's ridiculous that Gallant banned the kids from OT for literally no reason but they also don't f***ing do anything and it's getting old.

Honestly f*** this team. Right now this is just some of the most uninspired and frustrating hockey to watch. Everything and everyone is just off.

There’s so much to be frustrated and annoyed about overall I don’t even want to get into it. Vesey/Goodrow is a brain dead OT combo but then again, what exactly did the kids do today that merited anything?

One thing of note though, maybe one of these days Kakko should considering shooting the puck when he has a chance instead of trying to deke the puck into the net literally every single time he has a chance. May actually score a goal or something.

I know it's still relatively early in the season, but this team doesn't inspire any confidence. Still can't score on 5v5 (just like last year). Still no chemistry with the lines. Another invisible game by Lafreniere. Panarin had better chemistry with Strome than he does with Trocheck. Jimmy f***ing Vesey was our best forward...

How was Laf the consensus top overall pick? There's nothing about him that's exceptional. At least Kakko is strong.

I said this when he was a prospect before we won the lottery.

I'm starting to get there on the "Fire Gallant" bandwagon. This game is the epitome of why the argument can be made he should go. You have your line with three recent first round picks on it that applies the only iotta of forechecking and cycling pressure, and they don't see the ice for the last 10 minutes of the game down a goal or for a single second of OT.

Brutal.

I have to say, I like Gallant and wanted him here - but this is completely defenseless.

Panarin really can’t be trusted as a defensive player, especially in OT. If he doesn’t have the puck on his stick, he gets caught by getting out bodied by his own man driving to the net or doing a drive by on his own player who is wide open in front. It’s happened one too many times.

The problem with Miller, and it's something I echoed last season as well: has he laid someone out yet?

He should be using that body of his, not going for poke checks, because he tends to suck with those.

I just have the game in the background while I go on the computer at this point, haven't been this disinterested in them ever since I've been a fan. This team has no personality, charisma, energy, spark. Look back at that 2014 team and how magical that was and all the great personalities. People said this team is better than that one LOL

Seriously, more of you guys need to watch other games around the league. Just tune in one night and you'll be depressed at how boring our games are in comparison, we're playing in an entire different era than the rest of the league. The league is fun now.

What do you expect when the team runs talented players off of it and replaces them with talentless hacks like Blais, Reaves, Goodrow. Panarin declines precipitously, and none of the kids are really anything special. This is what it looks like.

If this continues, I'd ask him to waive his NTC. He's by far our most talented offensive player, but we could free up so much money and we'd get a very nice haul from a potential playoff team.

Though knowing Drury, he'd probably get a second-round pick and Pierre Escargot while retaining 50% of his salary.
