This season should go a long way to rebuilding the season ticket base.
Absolutely. We can have a 41 sellouts next year. Look at what we did after the 2012. Soldout most games and that was after Parise defected to Minnesota and a lockout. A shitty economy and high ticket prices can't keep our rapid and starving for a winner fanbase away. So much for younger people not wanting to attend live sporting events. Deffenilty a new generation of fans the 18 to 35 demo. They are killing it and going to away games like never before. This matters to me. A lot of my Devils friends don't care if there is only 11,000 fans and we are boring but, effective. They only care about results I get that to a degree but, I want to win and I care about how we get the results as well. It's entertainment after all. We've won before but, we didn't have the sexapeal of this Jack Hughes led team. It's fun to have fans of other teams enjoying this with us. I wanna be like Pittsburgh with a following of fans from other places away from NJ. Kids in Canada buying Jack Hughes Devils jerseys. I have a dream!

Rock sounded like it was bumping on the live feed
I was at Mountain Creek all night so had to watch the 3rd and ot on the ride back. Got dropped off at Penn and grabbed a pint at bellos before my train arrived and the few fans I spoke with said it was electric in there.

I think you are right in the end, but I don't think reigniting the rivalry is a bad thing either.

Bad for my heart, but not the team.
Yeah sure but I don’t want that as a first round matchup. Let’s dip our toes back into the playoffs with something slightly less nerve wracking

The team is very good but I’d feel a bit better if they had a legit top six wing added to thr mix. Too much Haula and Tatar. They are good support players but would be better served in slightly lesser roles.
Tonight was hilarious cause it went from one of the most annoying self-inflicted losses with Lindy line matching as if it's 1995 with the McLeod line as Crash Line 2.0 and treating Haula as Madden 2.0 to another frigging miracle win.

Definitely seeing more fans at away games this season. The number of Devils fans at the Cali game was shocking. I was at the Philly game in December and there were a few thousand Devils fans there. I don’t think that has ever happened before.

The March game against the Panthers should be another really solid road invasion.

If the Oilers miss, I think the MVP vote could be interesting. He is a lock if they make it
I don't follow the Hart vote enough to know, is it like baseball where the old fogey writers require you to be on a good team to win?

Tatar belongs. Haula does not.

I mean generally but what McDavid’s doing is going to transcend that

It...doesn't seem like it?

Catherine on the YT postgame said Dougie already has more goals than any Devils defenseman in a season since SCOTTY NIEDS lol
That Dave Pichette season is one of the stranger things in Devils' history.

Let’s make the playoffs first.
I mean I'm not gonna celebrate till that happens and I'm one of the most...cautious fans, but even I think we're past the point where we need to play the what if game. We have a thirteen point lead on the bubble with 35 games left, it would require a historic nuclear meltdown to miss at this point.

Once again

Vitek Vanecek is the most important acquisition we’ve made in a very long time.

Not saying he’s the best, but he’s definitely the most important.

It was about time we hit a home run after Crawford retiring a couple days into camp and Bernier getting hurt forever after only 10 games.

They tied it after the fans started an LGD out of no where.

That was home ice advantage at its finest.

Yessss Bratt was wheeling up with the puck...and the chant exploded.. Was so awesome, and the crowd went crazy then and the goal. Admittedly the shot was better looking live because of rose tint. i came back and saw how it deflected.. Lol!

Eight straight wins, only Brodeur has longer winning streak(s) in franchise history
