I mean I'm not gonna celebrate till that happens and I'm one of the most...cautious fans, but even I think we're past the point where we need to play the what if game. We have a thirteen point lead on the bubble with 35 games left, it would require a historic nuclear meltdown to miss at this point.

Yeah, I was really worried in December because we really weren't trending in a good direction, but the ship has been righted and with half the season over with it starts just becoming a mathematical fact

This angle of assist is terrific. Jack intentionally stops the pucks momentum and gets it on his backhand and passes it to the point. That wasn't luck, that was all skill and desire to win the game.

Ya know haven't played them since 1988. I'd welcome it yeah they'd be a chiseled experienced heavy playoff team with a goalie capable of stealing a series as much or more than Shitstreakin. Either way let's just get there and not worry about who we play. It's the eastern conference of the National Hockey League and there is no soft muffin of a potential playoff opponent to be found. Don't see the NYI going on a run anyway. Staying around the bubble and missing.

The tying goal was a great call, the winning goal really came at him fast but he did a nice job of filling in the details quickly

He didn’t fire Lemaire in 2010 though, even though I think a lot of us at the time thought Lou did ask him to leave or force him into retirement a year early because of how bad the second half of that year and playoffs went.

It appeared that wasn’t the case though.

Last D-man in their history to have 20 was Rob Ramage (20 in 80-81 for the Rockies) but Barry Beck had the most with 22 in 77-78.
Dougie could possibly break that.

The Rockies and Scouts' stats aren't Devils' stats, they don't count.

The sound difference between msg and ESPN hockey night is truly night and day. I have a 5.1 set up at the house and it seems that when hockey night is broadcasting you can hear a lot of the intricate stadium sounds coming through the speaker. I think msg dulls the sound quality quite a bit but they are more than likely using old equipment

The crowd noise was like being at the actual stadium

The team is very good but I’d feel a bit better if they had a legit top six wing added to thr mix. Too much Haula and Tatar. They are good support players but would be better served in slightly lesser roles.

I get the feeling Fitz feels the way you do. He's been "in" on some big name forwards the last year and a half.
