DH career high is 50 points in 16-17. Yeah he's earning his keep and his defense is not too bad either. Norris Trophy material like 5 years ago. Today it's just crazy with the EK65 return to greatness and Makar and Fox. Dougie is giving ownership some serious ROI right now. Holy shit 3 straight sudden death OT wins at home. 16,000 plus everytime. I had season tickets last year and dropped them this year lol. I mean I only make 10 to 15 games because of work and figured I could sell some and exchange others etc. We sucked so much that I ate like 10 games so said f*** this what a waste of money. Just a 3 game pack this year on top of the 9 games I bought as single tickets too.

Hope someone puts it on YT

I was in the lofts tonight, the fiancee brought us full circle with premium seats tonight after we saw the 3-2 win in Vegas last April.

The view of everyone jumping simultaneously from behind that net is burned in my brain forever. That was a good one.

that crowd pop on dougie’s equalizer was f***ing gorgeous in person oh my god
Hell yeah it was. Sounded like a playoff game! No one can shit on our fans anymore for not supporting our team. Anyone with half a brain knows thats only because half of NJ hockey fans support stupid New York and then criticize the size of our fanbase lol. We'll never be the more popular team in the market and im fine with that.16,512 is the right size for our capacity we have a big enough cult to fill it up! Good atmosphere and good optics for those watching from around the hockey world. Makes me feel proud!

That 2009 game where Lang’s scored to tie and then win in OT, gotta be against the Pens right? And still one of my fondest game memories. Also remember either Crosby or Malkin with a wicked backhand goal that game.

We’re a classic franchise at this point and the haters can’t f***ing stand it.

Based expansion!

That's what the minors are for.

Here's the thing I am willing to give Jack and to a much lesser extent Nico credit for the success we are having this season...but by the same token you have to lay the blame for those atrocious seasons directly at their feet for their lackluster play. It's only logical.
Past is prologue. What came before was necessary for what is now.

And you don’t blame children for the failings of adults.

But other than that sure. Jack and Nico were the reason the team stunk in years past.

Gotta say, this does have some Hall MVP season vibes out of Jack but unlike Hall I don't think Jack is playing out of his mind.
It's not that, it's that Jack has a little more help than Hall did. Our second leading scorer with Hall was I think Nico with 52 points as an 18-year old rookie. Or maybe K-Palm got to mid 50's. Hughes has Bratt and prime Nico along with DOUGLAS.

They tied it after the fans started an LGD out of no where.

That was home ice advantage at its finest.
So good to see. Was fearing we'd stay. 500 at home. Can't match our road winning percentage. At least if we don't like run the table here! Good vibes and energy/mojo at home can only help us down the stretch and into the playoffs! Yes Playoffs! It seemed after the Toronto loss at home our bubble burst and the hockey gods were against us. No puck luck getting goalied and ringing them off the pipes. Now the magic is back!

On the one hand I wish we'd have gotten the Dano orgasm on air, on the other hand I like that we got the PK postgame.

Dano wouldn't go full homer like PK just did. Sometimes I hate when Dano reels himself in, just gush over the team dude, screw out of town fans watching our post game

There’s that and the fact that McDavid’s pacing for ~70 goals 150 pts. Jack this year is 100% better than Hall was that year but the stars alligned perfectly for Hall to win the Hart.

It...doesn't seem like it?

Catherine on the YT postgame said Dougie already has more goals than any Devils defenseman in a season since SCOTTY NIEDS lol
Dougie has a very legit chance to break Stevens record of 18.
