say Klingberg works out perfectly on the second pairing - who would you snag with the rest of our cap?
imo it would be a servicable veteran back up goalie and someone to physical with some offensive upside on the wing to fill the gap for Kane assuming he wont be ready until playoff time.

Lets slow down the hype train just a BIT here, lol. Hey, I hope this is 110% correct and he plays like the 2019 version of himself. I just am not expecting anything approaching that. He was complete dogshit in his last few years. He is also 32 years old and coming off a major surgery. I am expecting a 7th Dman, and anything above that will be a welcome surprise.
He said this injury of his and the pain was in for his whole career. The pain and injury are gone now. I think that's pretty good to hear and he said his speed, motion is back

Well let's hope so, if he's 100% healthy now and his poor health was the reason that his play dipped we will be getting one hell of a bargain.

I pray Klingberg ends up being a top 4D so they can spend cap on goaltending instead

Heard a good interview from him the other day where he talked about how his hip issues affected his skating the last few years particularly when moving backwards. He said he lost his ability to get back quick enough and keep his gaps so he had to overcompensate by backing up earlier giving the attacking forwards more free rein. Kind of lost his ability to close gaps quickly and be aggressive defensively essentially. He said this is the first time in several years he feels he trusts his skating again.

I’m interested to see how he does. If he is in fact able to move well again I have never doubted his ability to move the puck.
