You seriously think it will stop?
thats the rational they sure when they take one from the scrum
You seriously think it will stop?
It depends on the attempt. Years ago, former Ranger John Osborne, swung his stick at an opponents head in the playoffs. Obviously not trying to hit him because he was at least a couple feet out of reach of ever hitting the player. But he was sending a message.Out of curiosity, what penalty do you expect to be called on an "attempt"?
I'm not too sure, it was 3-4 seconds after the goal, after having skated across half the ice. It's unsportsmanlike I'd say. My comment wasn't as much about the penalty to Pridham, if he whacked the guy its a penalty. More so that you've got a guy running around after guys after the play and he's lining up on the next faceoff still. With 3 to play in a 5 goal game, after multiple 10's to other players already. Get a lid on the bs after the whistle. Both ways.Out of curiosity, what penalty do you expect to be called on an "attempt"?
Agreed, most of the offense is coming from the perimeter. Flint's doing a good job taking away the center of the ice, credit to them. Gotta find a way to get to the net though.Rangers have to find a way into the front of the net for dirty goals on the road. Always tough grind in those barns up there.
I wouldn’t worry too much yet. Rangers will come out flying Thursday. For all their flaws, Flint is pretty good at getting sticks and bodies in lanes and in front of shots. Plus Day is really underrated. The team in front of him isn’t great and he’s better than his stats. Game two was not typical of him.I expected a loss in Flint. But being shutout? Don't like that.
There were a few of those for Flint too. It was just that kind of night for both teams. Either the forwards were getting boxed out/tied up or they weren’t in position to capitalize on them.As Jussi said, there were a lot of rebounds we didn’t get to.
They were the juicy kind that should have been sure goals.
Get to those rebounds and it’s all good.
I think Flint's coach knows what they have to do if they want to beat the Rangers. Game of chess. There were a few of those for Flint too. It was just that kind of night for both teams. Either the forwards were getting boxed out/tied up or they weren’t in position to capitalize on them.
