I turned it off after Lam missed the net, could feel it coming. Lost the momentum after both goals with penalty’s
I laughed so hard at that honestly I have no idea how he missed the net there. That’s happened to kingston a few times here this year and it just leaves you shaking your head

Obviously USA hockey got it right. Waaaayyyy too many of these this year. Goal 5 was Swick getting his feet tied up with Rehkopf and going down then unable to get out to the point man. Goal 4bwas all Hunter. He needs to keep it simple and whack that puck to the corner or high tail his a$$ back.
That was the book on him since he signed here. Difference maker in the offensive end and lapses in the D zone. Starting to see how some are comparing him to Merkley. His Defence is what gives me a little bit of hope he’s returns and MM can regain assets.

I think you mean Murphy.

Merkley as a comparable would be so, so wrong!

On a positive note, Rehkopf scored twice . Swick coming along and getting physical. Sop scored his 31st. Even some 3rd line scoring with Ellinas from Lam. If it wasn't for Brzzz, might have been a different game.

On to Ottawa who destroyed the Petes. Quick turnaround for both teams with a 3pm start. I fully expect the Rangers to make a game of this one.

While there are a lot of guys on this team who need to find their ’earlier in the season’ selves, I think we need to cut #4 some slack. The young man has been through too much in his world lately to think he can jump on the ice every night and just leave all that behind. I am sure he knows he can be better. May just need more time.

Looking at the highlites of last nights contest on the OHL site. Parson's wasn't at his best either. He should of stopped a couple of those goals. Bruz screwed the pooch on more than one occasion but he wasn't totally at fault for the loss. Both teams looked sloppy last night at times but Kingston capitalized on the chances offered up on poor defensive mistakes by the Rangers. Kingston isn't at the top of the standings. Put that into perspective. The last win they accomplished was against the Storm. They got lucky in the last minute and got a tie to put the game in OT. They actually got out played that whole game also. It's a mystery as to why this team took such a U-turn. Side note: London is about 2 points away from making the play offs already.

Perhaps you are right, as of late. But I feel that Hunter's defensive play during the whole campaign this year has been his achilles heal. Definitely something he needs to work on if he wants to play for my mighty Flames (I'll admit I'm a fan though an embarrassed one) or anywhere in the NHL for that matter.

100%

LOL, that makes me recall the old(er) guy behind me that cursed Murphy for random lapses every game for years after Murphy was gone ... ;)

Owen Sound must be licking their lips, Rangers will be an easy out for them. What the hell did he give all those picks for Sale, he looks lost.
Team has no idea of how to defend at all. Every player on this team sees a green light. I always look at the GA in the over all standings. These are the teams you don't want to meet in the play offs. Last night looked like scrambled eggs. The giveaways and take aways were brutal.

Surprised more people haven’t pointed to this. On both goals people are blaming on Brzustewicz, immediately prior to the mistake, Sale could have prevented it with a reasonable effort and did not.

Not trying to throw any kid under the bus but there are several problems right now with how they’re playing and a lot of individuals not committing to the little details that got them where they were.

Barrie could trade Sale to Kitchener only. The Rangers probably could have acquired Sale & Punnet or just Sale at a lower cost.
But the Rangers wanted Savard would have been a top 4 D for the Colts for 2+ more seasons.

Lots of talk as to what the players are doing wrong but what happened to that Ahokas pocus? If he wants to be an NHL coach, he is going to have to show that he can fix things. He has been impressive in what he have been able to get this team to do in the first half of the year now he needs to impress by how he rolls over the changes.
This is a good point. Jussi and his staff haven't proven anything yet. Still have to remember MM put this squad together. As Ed Grimley use to say " Watching these guys perform does make one a little mental I must say".

Before Swick fell over, Hunter missed a puck off the boards in the offensive zone and Kingston went the other way.

Arquette with a nice power move to score the game winner with a minute left last night. He’s a different player since his stint with the rangers while playing first line and unit on special teams.

Owen Edwards got in last night and won his 15th of the year 18/22 saves.
This is the most intriguing draft class in a number of years.

Tim you are right on the money here, Sale shows very little effort right now. Crazy the picks we gave for him, would have been much better holding on to those picks or getting another solid D man.

Also crazy he was a first rounder. Rangers should steer clear of Seattle picks going forward with Rekopf, Sale, and Wright as top picks showing inconsistent efforts. GAF meter just isn't there for these guys.

Definitely. You can’t give up that many assets for guys without high end compete levels.
