With all the picks that MM can recoup next yr by selling Rehkopf, Sale, Ando & Parsons I don't see why he doesn't make the Mayich deal happen. I wouldn't mind seeing one more veteran centre coming in.

I don’t think McKenzie would do that. We need Misa to complete 3 solid lines. I’d actually still like to see 1 more add to move Ellinas out of top 9. I think Ellinas will be solid in a top 9 role just not as a 17 year old.

If they are adding anything, it's D. I thought Ellinas has stepped up huge as of late. He was buzzing against Saginaw. Looked just as dangerous as Sop or Swick that game.

Brantford traded Van Vliet to Sudbury for a player, two seconds and a third. We got a third and a fourth for Hamara. Is Van Vliet that much better that Hamara?

After trading two defensemen (Van Vliet and Donovan), Brantford received four 2nds, five 3rds, and two 4ths. Not too shabby!

Don't think you see Sale back. He's AHL eligible. His numbers in Barrie were Meh. Now that he has a seasoned lineup to play with I think you will see him excel...jmho.

Most said Mesar wouldn't be back this year. Sale could very well be back next year. If not, maybe he can put a word in with fellow countrymen Pobezal.

Good trade. Pretty cheap all considered. Fills a need on D. Misal slides down to 3rd line for me easily, probably on the left side.

Why not keep Savard ('05) and get a heck of lot more picks next season from an Andonovski ('05) trade ?
