It's small town hockey. Every coach, GM, and scout has dozens of friends that are fans. I'm good friends with a former assistant coach that would tell me things here and there. Lots of people know someone like that. It's obvious that most teams forums have a person who knows a few things.

Just can't see them finding a big enough barrel to fit Swick in at the falls. Just for the tourist in the summer then back on the team in the fall.
Nobody told Savard about the trade. He said he would have been fine going to Kitchener but he doesn't like Sale so he is invoking his NTC.

Never saw too much of these players. What would they bring to the table if it comes to fruition?

Well we know Seattle saw something in Sale that they liked even more than Rehkopf, taking him 20th overall last year. PPG at WJC's despite kind of a pedestrian stat line in Barry.

Haha I'm sure that's true in some cases! Much of the stuff wasn't 'secret' per se. It's just that nobody knew yet. Many of these trades are completed and approved a day before they are posted on the website.
My friend is actually in the AHL now, doing really well.

Going to be shocking but I keep top 2 lines together. Ellinas is not a center. I see still a trade for a legit center unless Sale is C but I thought he is a winger.

When the team is together, all 4 lines roll. It doesn't matter. Special teams though? Who knows.

The hold up might be a OHL investigation. They’re have been issues in the past of team prearranging import trades.
Jussi rolls the top 3 pretty even. Sale will get plenty of PP and PK time. Swick - Ellinas - Lam aren’t going to create much. The top 2 lines have proven to get it done when healthy. Swick is a great complimentary player to Razor and Mesar. Misa great complimentary to Sop and Martin. Neither one of them can carry a line. I still think MM looks for a F to complete the 3rd line. If you can put someone between Lam and Sale….thats a hell of a 3 lines.

He’s the 10th overall pick in the NHL draft. No way he’s buried on the third line. He has to play with comparable players.
No disrespect, but we better scramble the lines up better than that.
That’s the problem with bringing in a big forward piece. We’ll be upsetting the apple cart to accommodate him.
He’s a left shooting RW. That’s another thing. Play him at his position. The right side.
So now we have five RW’s. Who plays out of position? And as a result, who’s game are you possibly affecting negatively.

Teams in the past more so in the W have gotten teams to sign imports and then trade for them at the deadline. If this is the case Rangers argument would be “why would they when they were not supposed to be good” likely just condition related if Sale comes back next year.

2 Number 1 lines and a 1b line. 
Originally when I saw your lines, I was thinking flip Sop and Ellinas but I do like your third line..it could do real damage vs other teams third line.

Ellinas has shown pretty decent on the dot. He was drafted into this league as a center.
Any truth to the rumour that Mayich from Ottawa is coming? If so, with the pending trade our defence looks solid and 3 scoring lines + energy 4th line. Could be in for a long playoff run...
