Fun fact.......Gaudreau and Parsons were touted as the two top goalie picks at their draft.
I may have jinxed you / us now watch Bennie stand on his head and knock both Kitchener and the Knights out of the playoffs! Didn't know that about Parsons but every time I've seen the kid play he looks like a "keeper".

Jussi said they were terrible the 2nd and 3rd. To many giveaways, takeaways and mistakes. There is an element missing in the Rangers system. It's been that way for quite a while.
I get the feeling the current Rangers team is not matching up quite as well to the style your first year coach prefers to play? Could be wrong but I think Jussi is a pretty sharp coach but he struggles a bit to effect changes in the teams approach? But that's on MM in the future to draft and build a roster the coach can maximize the return on? Let's face facts this season has probably garnered better results then most fans expected?

I am definitely not under any illusion that a matchup with London if we are fortunate enough to get out of round one is nothing short of terrible. 100% they need to get this done in 6 now not that I think that it matters because I don’t see them beating London. Stranger things have happened but logic tells me otherwise. But the playoff experience will hopefully be beneficial down the road.
We would need a bit of luck if we end up playing London. Oh, by the way, if there are any Knights players reading this, don't believe what you read in the media! It is okay to stare at the eclipse on Monday! Actually, there is scientific evidence that shows that the longer you stare, the faster you can skate!

Exciting OT but Rangers out chanced the Otters all night including OT. By far the most complete game all series for the Rangers. Could of been a lot worse if not for the posts and Gaudreau.
Great game last night! Lots of heart and hard work by the Rangers. Held Erie to just 7 shots in the 2nd period. Rangers played to the end despite Erie pushing hard back. They found ways to disrupt the trap and there were at least two "goals" didn't happen because of weird ricochets off and around the bars and one that hugged the line at the corner goal mouth. I give credit to the boys because those goals would normally have gone in but it's playoffs and nothing is rarely normal.

Swick ended Erie's night by doing his thing and pouncing on the puck as Gaudreau and two other Erie players scrambled to keep it out. Now both teams can rest up and get ready for the final game(s).

Watching this series. It's like in the Roman days. Two gladiators are sent out to battle each other for entertainment. The winner gets fed to the lions(Knights) after. 😉 Hopefully the one remaining gladiator pulls a Petizian.🤪

Great game to watch in person. Erie is playing tough, even though we outshot them (50-33) that game could have gone either way.

IMO we need to provide our D with a little more help, too many times our forwards were caught out of position and late getting back. Like to see Jussi make some minor adjustments to frustrate the Otters and take this series in six.

Rangers seem to be dumping pucks in last night more than previously. Otters are great at standing up at either center ice or on their blue line and breaking up a lot of plays with good stick work. Dumping pucks in and trying to force turn overs worked to the Rangers advantage. Rangers played with more pace last night. Never sat back as much as previous games. Still need to work on cleaner break outs. That seems to be an issue still. An opponent like the Knights riddled with 20 plus goal scorers would take advantage of the Rangers issues breaking out of their end.

Have dates for games one and two in London been ironed out yet?

Farwell mentioned post game last night that he expected game one vs London would be on Saturday. There’s a Lightning game scheduled on Friday but nothing on Thursday.

Unless the dates have already been finalized, if the Rangers win on Tuesday, don’t be surprised if Games 1 and 2 are Thursday, Saturday.

It’s the home team’s call.

I doubt London would want a 9 day break and to give a tired opponent rest.

That's knice of London to give the victor of our series a break should it go 7 games. I'm guessing it's mandated by the league because of the schedule change 😁
