This was a great opportunity for Xhekaj to end his time in the OHL on his home town team....now OHL champs and heading to the Mem Cup.Bravo Arber, Jay & Andreas; continued success representing the OHL!

When Detroit drafted Sebrango I said I wished it was Xhekaj instead. Sebrango will be an NHL dman but I think Xhekaj will have a bigger impact.Xhekaj... Big fan of 8, one of my favourite players.
A rare pic of him smiling. He could go out on Halloween as 'V' as in "V for Vendetta" without even needing a Guy Fawkes mask. However, I'd prefer him in a Habs costume in October.

Sebrango seems to be on a trajectory to at least see some callup play in the NHL next season but needs to keep elevating his development and find another gear to be a career pro IMO. Xhekaj needs some AHL time to even determine where he's really at as a pro talent despite shining strongly at camp last year. Habs seem to have a logjam on the D pipeline with contracts due to be sorted out and 1st rounders Kaiden Guhle (L) & Logan Mailloux (R) in the mix but Xhekaj has repeatedly shown that he does the work and finds a way. Habs are anything but 'by the book' with handling prospects and Xhekaj could somehow hit and stick before too long.Sebrango will be an NHL dman but I think Xhekaj will have a bigger impact.
Xhekaj has always been much more physical and better defensively. I think he's well on his way to surpassing Sebrango offensively too if he hasn't already. By being allowed to play the maximum time in junior Xhekaj has been able to develop that part of his game.Sebrango seems to be on a trajectory to at least see some callup play in the NHL next season but needs to keep elevating his development and find another gear to be a career pro IMO. It will be interesting to see how Arber stacks up vs Guhle (EDM) & even (pre-season Ranger) Martin Has (SHA) in the MemCup.
My daughter and I love the little military guy. Number 4.
Number five is the easy pick. I agree with K2 on number five.Fairly good chance we see a retro jersey this year with it being the 60th season. Rangers did a "what's your favourite logo" poll with past logos on facebook/twitter today. Personally, I loved the retro one they made for the 50th.
This logo ages me as it's what they wore when I first started going to games and my first Rangers jersey. I prefer their current look right now but that WW1 soldier could easily become their new logo going forward and I wouldn't mind it. At the very least, see what it looks like on a white/off white jersey and have that and the classic blue as home and away options.I hate to give the boring answer but I think the current logo is their best. Although I do like the one in RangerNation's profile pic.
I think we wear blue helmets with our blue jerseys though the whole white/dark, home/away jersey tradition seems to have gone somewhat random these days. What dictates the choice ... the away team's traveling laundry situation? As an aside, I always wondered why Kitchener go with red helmets home and away while the New York Rangers go with white (home) and blue (away).

Agreed! Brew-Stehv-Itch was more of an opportunity than a throw-in on the Declan deal, with the signing today we sent our 2nd & 4th round 2025 picks to Barrie. Great value add MM!While the haul of pics for McDonnell was sweet...this signing just makes it even sweeter.
With most of the conditions met on this deal, this deal turns into Declan Macdonell for Hunter B and a third round pick conditional on Macdonnell playing an overage season.Agreed!
