Lots of articles online about Chris Dennis. Impressive resume at all levels.......NHL.....AHL........University....and recently, OHL. He brings a lot of experience and personal contacts from the big show after working under and with some top level coaches. Plus he understands the junior level of play. This should not only help the team but also in bringing in more top draft prospects to play here. Looking forward to a more promising season!!

Well, I wish I could give an opinion on this hiring but since I've never had of him I will just say " congratulations on the job".
I was thinking the same. Dennis does have an extensive resume. Although my confidence in MM has slightly waivered from time to time, I do trust his judgement. The organization has made progress during his tenure.

I really hope Dennis will develop the offensive part of the game.

Hi folks….earlier this week overage F-Mike Petizian announced he has committed to play for the University of New Brunswick in the fall. Hoping some of you could provide a scouting report so is fans have an idea what to expect from him? TIA

Wow! You are getting an incredibly outstanding player. Can put up some points. Heart and soul of our team the last few years. Never say die attitude. Will do what it takes to win. Will go into all the dirty areas to get the job done. Natural leader. Serious captain material. He didn’t wear the C here, but that’s not because he wasn’t qualified.

You will be incredibly happy he’s playing on your team. It’s a good day to be a UNB fan!!

100% heart and soul guy and is a natural leader. Not sure if there's nothing he cant do as a forward...scores goals, playmaker and kills penalties. Zero downside to him and he will be fan favourite...doesnt take a shift off.

That’s great! Along with the résumé, he has some pretty good genes too!
It will be interesting to see if any of the asst coaches remains or can Dennis bring in new guys?
If I had to guess the ext'g coaches will be retained.

Don't let his size fool you. Plays like he is 7 feet tall. Recently elevated to "hero status" for scoring a game 7, overtime winner against our arch rivals. You'll love him!

He'll be playing with 2 of those arch rivals, as Camryn Baber and Cody Morgan have also just signed with UNB. Should be a powerhouse!

Arber Xhekaj:

I don't usually comment here on players no longer with the Ranger organization but I can't help but be impressed with this guy - starting his career as an invite. Didn't quite get the cup, but received recognition in the tournament by being named to the allstar team.

2022 CHL Import Draft - Tomorrow:

It appears that the Rangers are picking at #26.
Where do they stand on their import situation?

Rangers receive Gleb Veremyev and OS’s 12th in 2024 from the Steelheads for Rangers’ prospect Brady Schwindt (8th rounder, 2021). Veremyev is a big 6'5" 200lb+ 19yo forward playing in the USHL (Lincoln NE) with a NCAA commitment to (tiny) Colorado College (after decommitting from Penn State). He's like another Navrin Mutter ... with 28pts + 133PIM in 56 games!

Id imagine Veremyev reports. Would seem like a waste to trade for a 19 year old that stays in Colorado. Another Schwindt to Missy. Why not eh!

So, building the team as we sign players...........this makes Nolet out and Brzustewicz in. So far, so good. To clarify, nothing against Nolet. Out because he is past OA.
Speculative move #2..........Veremyev in, Mutter out. How much toughness do we need? Is Florian Xhekaj sounding realistic?

Is there a rankings list of the players available in the import draft or is this the crap shoot I think it is?

Looks like we are picking at #22 according to the CHL site. Seems like 4 teams are "passing".
