He is good right? What’s his coaching record?Mike McKenzie would be the only option to take over.

The coach doesn't have the room, but seems to have GM. Time is literally up; this team has to play legitimately well consistently the rest of the way just to make it.This team has a three gear transmission and seldom gets out of second. Just once I’d love to see some passion and intensity where they just come out flying and desperate.
Sadly, it’s a country club and none of them are ever pushed to be better.
I have come to the same conclusion. This staff is not capable. Period. With an extra year of experience, and a pretty good "paper team", this coaching staff has Constantini allowing a full goal (1.02) per game. 3.35 up from 2.33. That is massive.
There is nothing you can add that will make this coach good. It's now or never.
He was just ok last year until the last 1/4 and playoffs. I think doing the dual role takes too much of his time and/or focus away. He was very good when he took over from McKee.He is good right? What’s his coaching record?
The assistants too, they've been here through a lot of the same issues not changing. Head Coach needs to go and takes the brunt of the blame, but I agree I think the rest of the staff shares significant responsibility as well...I think we might be stuck with them even if we get rid of CD.I have come to the same conclusion. This staff is not capable. Period.
Steve B both pissed me off and turned my stomach with those comments after that early exit.I voted 10 years ago when I cancelled my tickets after what Bienkowski declared "an entertaining season". Looking back it was lol.
Yes, and, like the last coach firing here, MM will step in coincidentally as we’re getting healthy, though IMO, there’s no comparison between McKee and Dennis.Mike McKenzie would be the only option to take over.
This team has been underachieving from the start. A couple more weeks won't prove anything unfortunately. Now that MM has decided to go for it, it's now or never really.I mean, sure. Flint isn’t hanging any banners in the building next year but they’re not Erie or Niagara. I’m losing my s**t in the Flint thread about this season and I would be if I was a Ranger fan too but…….you do have a couple kids returning soon and if MM takes over behind the bench it would certainly shake up a room that is stocked with talent and the only goalie in the league with Memorial Cup expierience. Give it a couple more weeks. THEN you can burn the Aud down.
Yeah. Another Bienkowski quote. That after the Smith hire. That was laughable and embarrassing.Let's hope in this off season when MM hopefully makes another HC hire it's one with a proven track record. I remember at one of the Rangers upper management saying the OHL is not just a development league for players but also GMs and head coaches. Having an inexperienced coach like Dennis is a total disservice to the fans but more importantly to the players who's already igniting the odds for a pro career. Wonder if a proven winning coach here may have lured Hage to sign? I'm sure it would have given him more of a reason to along with other players.
Chris Dennis: “I'm being patient, I'm asking our guys to be patient, I'm asking everybody to be patient. Give us some time here. We will get this sorted out.”
No stone unturned means every possible piece of value not a part of this years run.“We could add around the edges and try to piece things together on the cheap but I think right now I’m looking at it and I feel like Rangers Nation deserves an all-in effort in terms of leaving no stone unturned and making sure we’re doing everything in our power this year to really push and do something special.”

Live by your words Mike.
Yes. City News. Dennis is like the Black Knight in the Search for the Holy Grail. Arms and legs chopped off. "It is but a scratch". "Come back you bastards I'll bite your legs off". It's his never say die attitude! Last years win in the play offs gave the management a false sense of glory. Great goaltending and timely goals by Petizian did that job. Now after a brutal start and with MM hiring a new coach and painted himself into a corner where he had to react. He did make mistakes at the draft table. The only hope is he traded for the right players and someone can get this thing going. Can't cry over spilled milk. It's what they have to work with now.Is this a recent quote? This really sounds like a coach that knows he should be fired.
He didn’t give McKee that consideration.I believe that MM will give CD a chance to show what he can do with a full (?) line-up and a week of practice with the new guys / returning guys. It also gets MM past the trade deadline. One could certainly make an argument that CD has already been given numerous chances, but IMO, I think it may make sense to give it another week or two. That pretty much would clear up any "what if's". Having said that, the negative part is that time is passing by and the team needs to move up the standings......like yesterday. Need more consistency too. So I could see the argument both ways.

Just sayin.
And McKee was a much better coach (that's really bad to say, but true).
