It's no secret. When you are the most successful franchise in the CHL, you have to take the picking.

Yes, hope he is okay. Face plant into the boards and seemed disoriented walking down the tunnel.
As a Bruin fan I like the way Edward plays. He is a Bruin prospect. If he hit Motew with that hit he would have injured him for sure. It is part of the Knights game plan to target the highest plus kid on the Rangers. Hope Edwards is okay.

From Kitcheners point of view, the comments make sense. Complete lies but makes sense.

1. MacKenzie shows his squad he has their backs.

2. Puts an US against the whole league spin on it.

3. Demonizes the Knights in his players eyes, already there with the fans.

Now if the Rags score first today, I could see the roles reverse themselves.
Now if only I could foretell lottery numbers... :naughty:

Most games in the 2nd half of the season Pinelli has been the best player on the ice. He certainly was today. He needs to be the rest of the series for Kitchener to win. Surprised Humphry (pretty sure it was him) didn't get tossed for his clapper after Kitchener scored their 4th that hit the linesman. VERY dangerous and I was expecting tossed with a possible suspension looming.

dmead , McKenzie might have fell off the turnip truck on his was into town but he was reading Mark Hunter's league play book right before he hit the dirt road. Hunter was using this tactic back when MM was still riding around on his tricycle. Hunter has a few opposing coach's skins out at the old Hunter homestead on the barn door. Big picture of Dave Branch smiling up above. :) It's not over until that fat lady sings.

Hey it worked. Teams reversed roles today. We got ourselves a series. :fence:

Ty Hollett scores the Chick-fil-A 'free chicken wings' goal and gets a 10min misc for doing a little bird dance as he heads off ... harsh ;)
Total BS call. Refs don't like chicken I guess...

Targeting backfired and Edward knocked himself out of the game. Kharma.

Best $5.000 ever spent. OHL actually needs "referee supervision" to keep them on their toes. But the OHL's reaction is to slap on a fine instead of looking at the officiating. Same two officials pairing that "missed" obvious penalties in the Windsor series upped their "officiating" in series 2. A coincidence I know and totally the players fault.

Rangers came to play on Sunday and London paid the price. Pinelli was a beast and the rest followed with resounding success. The Pinelli and Arcuri back-to-back goals in the 3rd indeed rocked the house. THIS is the kind of hockey they played against Windsor and MUST continue in this series.

Based on the force Edward’s head / face hit the base of the boards (no give), we have to assume he’s on the shelf for at least the very near future? Concussion protocol? I’d be surprised if he’s in the lineup tomorrow night.

I remember Carlo Coliacovo hit the back of his head with force at the base of the boards and it caused him long term concussion issues.

Anytime you suffer a cut (I’m hearing stitches over the eye), with your helmet on, you know there was an amount of force involved. Hope this isn’t a long term issue for the kid.

Glad he didn't make contact with Motew. From the replay that I saw, it looked like it was going to be a head shot.

Just rewatched the Edward/Motew collision. Ouch. Surprised Motew wasn't injured too. Edward's shoulder didn't rise up enough to make the initial contact with Motew and it was a head on head collision.
