Boldy, Kap, Yurov, Rossi, JEE, Wallstedt, Faber, Buium

>>>

Suzuki, Reinbacher, Slaf, Caufield, Hutson, Dach, Roy, Newhook etc.
Where is Ghule? Also,
Did you conviently leave out one of the games top prospects in Demidov, and Fowler.

Additonally: Hage, Beck, Mailloux.

I'll take our team and prospects any day and that is with the Wild having a great prospect pool.

And not sure why you are so defensive and trying to deflect into the future when facts are that the Wild don't have much if a history at all. Unless mediocrity is it.

This may have been said already, but…

Goals created per game

This isn’t a real record, it only exists on hockey-reference.com

Goals per game
Assists per game
Points per game

These pace-based stats change over time and having a very high “X per game” is often attached to playing fewer games. Having an extremely high per-game over a larger number of seasons is a different and more impressive feat.

In this case, Kaprizov (278gp) is ahead of Gaborik (502gp) in goals/game and points/game, and tied with Zuccarello (324gp) in assists/game. It’s certainly looking good for him to eventually match those players after an equal number of GP, but not a done deal.

Which leaves us with:

Most goals in a season
Most assists in a season
Most points in a season
Most PP goals in a season

Yes, in 21-22 Kaprizov had the best season in Wild history and it’s not close. I suppose second place would be Gaborik’s 07-08 and the gap between them is large enough that it isn’t an argument.

Why are you even here? Trying to compete with Leafs fans on who has the worst fanbase?

Man had one of the best offensive seasons that any 26-year-old D has had in the last twenty years:

Fixed that for you.
What is there that is false? Montreal easily has a top 3, top 2 IMO prospect pool/ future. Minnesota top 5.

Someone called out Habs future which was a dumb ass comment.
Also, they clearly have one if not just NHL, but sports best pasts of all time. So what is the problem here?

Yet, at almost every position the Wild have the best player between the two teams.

Kaprizov>>>>Slafkovsky
Eriksson Ek<Suzuki
Boldy>Caufield
Faber>>Reinbacher
Buium>Guhle or Hutson
Wallstedt>Fowler

●Hutson + Ghule + Reinbacher + Mailloux on D = Montreal
●Slafkovsky = personally I rather have as you need those big bodies com playoff time. Plus he has lots of skill.
●Dach will be big part as well if he stays healthy. Can see him being close to PPG player with size.
● Caufield I expect to be a 40 goal guy but last year he was coming off of shoulder surgery.
●Goalies slight advantage Wild but that coukd change easily as Fowler has been dominating.
●If you factor in Demidov, Hage, Roy etc. and how deep our pool is= easily Montreal.

Overall Montreal core (now and future) is way younger and has great potential. But it's still potential while the Wild core is already mostly good/great NHLers. So it's hard to predict which team has brihgter future.

I dont think Suzuki is better than Ek. He is 2.5 million dollars per year more expensive for marginally better offensive performance and significantly worse defensive performance.

You’d take Slafkovsky over Kaprizov?

You’ve got some nice future middle 6 and bottom 4 players. I’ll give you that. Good thing one can usually find those pretty easily via trade/free agency. I’ll take the better players at the top end all day.

Future middle 6 lol yea nice one. Have a great young core for our top 6, bottom as well, and stacked on D.

Mimny besides Kap, (albeit soft as f***) you guys have few decent pieces on your current team. Maybe 2-3 guys. Future does look to be good for a solid bubble team for you guys too. Pretty much status quo where you guys have been happy to be since existence. But hey, to each their own I guess.

You guys haven’t been relevant since 1993, so who is talking? I see nothing in your future to suggest you will be any better than Minnesota.
