He failed upwards onto the first line. Time to end that experiment. The injury excuse is getting old 17 games into the season.

I say let him eat timbits in the pressbox for a few games.

I admire MSL patience. Maybe MSL sees something that we don't see ?!?

I'm more bothered by the fact that Dach is on PP1 and line 1-2 than Matheson on PP1.

He's showing why the Hawks' GM thought it was a good idea to pass him while he had a good value. Maybe he will go back to what he showed us in the few minutes he played last year... but maybe not.

Not like we have the luxury or the riches to discard a player like him so easily, so until then might as well just ride it out, see what happens.

I totally agree...the kid is struggling mightily. Has he lost a step? He can't complete a simple pass...he is a shell of the player that scored 38 points in 58 games.
Hard to believe a guy could fall like this. His big start last year was only against preseason lineups and 1 NHL game. Small sample size, we could have overrated him.

People underestimate the intensity and speed of the best hockey league in the world. This isnt a long weekend Dach came back from guys, he had a life altering injury and recovered for a solid year. He might not be back to normal until he has a full season under his belt.

I've heard players say before knee or lbi hardest to comeback from. They say can't train properly

I still think its pretty early to hit the panic button with Dach but MSL need to make it accountable for is poor play.

He need to skip the first PP until he prove he deserve the spot. Put Gally or Hutson at his spot.

Need to be put on a third line until he find his swagger. There's no excuse now, he need to show something to earn back the first PP and top 6 minutes.

MSL need to shake him a little bit

Dach is clearly struggling, and he's a liability on the PP (bad passes, bad zone entries, no shooting abilities). I think he needs to be off PP1. Killing plays on the PP is not helping him build any confidence.

Something to notice is that he is far less physical that he used to be. And this was part of his game. I think he's afraid to get injured so he plays soft and he's all mixed up in the head.
Yup..............this says it all...........Tenative, and playing gun shy so to speak.

Was expecting the 1st ten games or so, to be tough for him, but expected him to be much better after a understandably slow start.............hasn't happened.

Dach........has to be better, or we pick in the top 5 again.
