He failed upwards onto the first line. Time to end that experiment. The injury excuse is getting old 17 games into the season.

I say let him eat timbits in the pressbox for a few games.

Sucks for him that he got injured and all that, but this is the player he's become, and he's no longer useful to this team. Time to move on, he's a failed project.

This isn't a feel sorry league.

As if 17 games is a lot.

It took Caufield around 70 games last season to look like himself more and he missed far less games than Dach.

I admire MSL patience. Maybe MSL sees something that we don't see ?!?

I'm more bothered by the fact that Dach is on PP1 and line 1-2 than Matheson on PP1.

Caufield was fine, it’s his shot that was off. Dach is playing low effort and stupid hockey. It’s not just his legs that are off, it’s his brain.

17 games is not a lot after a year off and a serious injury. This isn't an established player, he was only coming into his own right before it. He's going to need time.

He's showing why the Hawks' GM thought it was a good idea to pass him while he had a good value. Maybe he will go back to what he showed us in the few minutes he played last year... but maybe not.
